As Erin processed Alexia's explanation, she couldn't shake off the feeling of confusion mingled with gratitude.

In a state of bewilderment, she turned to glance outside to the patio, where the lounge triggered her memories of the previous night.

"Why did I wake up naked, then?" the blonde inquired hesitantly, her voice laced with a hint of embarrassment as pale cheeks flushed in a light shade of rose.

Alexia hesitated for a moment before answering, her eyes meeting Erin's with unwavering honesty.

"We did make out for a while," she began, her tone soft yet earnest. "But when things started to... escalate, I noticed you weren't feeling well. You wanted sex, but I declined because I could see you weren't yourself. So we stopped and fell asleep on the bed, cuddling."

The blonde delicate lips pursed in surprise, a mixture of relief and confusion washing over her at Alexia's words.

The power those words held.

She couldn't remember any of it, yet she felt grateful for Alexia's care, the care of a stranger she'd just met yesterday, and the respect this woman had for her well-being.

"How did I end up out there?" Erin pressed further, her brows furrowing with curiosity.

Alexia took a deep breath before answering, her gaze turning thoughtful.

"You felt sick throughout the night, likely from whatever they slipped into your drink," the brunette explained with a gentle touch, her fingers brushing lightly against Erin's arm. "You didn't feel well, stumbled out here with only the blanket to get some fresh air, and... ended up falling asleep. And I... I stayed up, keeping an eye on you... hoping that you'd remember something of what happened when you'd wake up."

The blonde listened intently, a wave of appreciation washing over her as she took in the captain's honest words.

Despite her lack of memory, she felt a sense of comfort knowing that Alexia had been there for her, that she didn't take advantage of her vulnerable self, watching over her throughout the night.

"Thank you," the blonde murmured softly, her voice filled with genuine gratitude.

Alexia smiled warmly, reaching out to gently squeeze Erin's hand.

"Don't say that..." she replied, her voice tender. "You just don't remember that I left a good first impression, Bonita."

Processing these words a chuckle escaped her lips, Erin's gratitude swelled within her, and she felt an overwhelming urge to express it physically.

Without hesitation, she leaned forward, her slender arms wrapping around Alexia's neck.

The captain reciprocated immediately, her warm hand finding rest on Erin's hips, holding her close.

The embrace felt like a comforting cocoon, enveloping the blonde in a sense of safety and warmth. She melted into the brunette's embrace, surrendering to the tenderness of the captains touch, her eyes fluttering shut as she nuzzled her head in the crook of Alexia's neck. The captain's scent surrounded her, a blend of saltwater and subtle perfume, soothing her senses.

Erin mumbled softly as the hug continued, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" the blonde mumbles softly as she tightened her arms, her voice barely above a whisper, words muffled against Alexia's skin. "I thought that..."
