"Pops" I speak, getting my dad's attention.

He's in the kitchen peeling a banana.

"What's up?" I watch as he cuts his banana into small pieces on to a paper plate..

"I need your advice on something" I tell him.

"What's up?" He questions eating a piece of the banana.

I follow him into the living room.

"Mom ain't here is she?" I whisper looking around.

I don't want her to hear me.

He shakes his head "She went to Dani house for something"

"For what?" I ask out of curiosity.

He shrugs "Shit I don't know, Dani called her and she left"

"Oh okay" I respond.

"What you need advice on?"

I take a deep breath "On how to make sure my gang gets away with killing somebody"

My dad begins to cough...

"First off who are you trying to kill?" He raises an eyebrow.

"Sasha's ex" I tell him.

"Who the hell is Sasha?" My dad asks confused.

"BJ's girlfriend. Her ex boyfriend raped her and Bj wants him gone so Sasha will feel safe again" I explain.

There's a moment of silence then he nods "Okay"

"Okay?" I ask furrowing my eyebrows "Okay what?"

"Okay I'll help y'all but since it's Bj's girlfriend he has to be the one to pull the trigger"

I'm happy my dad is finally accepting that I want to be like him.

"I really appreciate you and your dad for letting me stay here" Sasha speaks bringing me out of my thoughts.
