Rosa lays in her room on her bed and looks trough a photo album Sarah got her for her sixteenth birthday, while Sarah takes a shower.
Sometimes Rosa wonders how her life might have turned out if things had been different. What if her father hadn't won that one case and they had stayed on the cut. If she had grown up as a Pogue, would she have been with JJ for years? Would she still be best friends with Sarah? Would Kie and her never have had that fight? Would she never have met Rafe and gone through hell because of him? But what if her mom and Big John hadn't been looking for the royal merchant? Then Sarah wouldn't be homeless and still have a family. Would Sarah and John B have met then? Or JJ and Rosa? Would Rosa still be friends with Pope and Kie? Or would Rosa and John B be best friends? Would Rafe and Rosa still be together today and he might be very different to her? Like that night in the locker room at school?
