Kate's Wedding Dress

I am fitting Kate's wedding dress and looking at the floral designs she wants embellished into the bodice like a waste band. She wants the bridesmaids to wear dresses made of the floral material and have a white lace band around their waste that match her wedding dress lace. The wedding cake needs to have the same floral design on it. She has already gotten a cake designed and they are scheduling their wedding in six months time. We were dumbfounded when Elliott asked us for Kate's hand in marriage. We had no idea they were that serious, we thought they were just friends with benefits. Who knew. I told her to not be like me and marry the first guy you fell for. She went one step further she made sure he could satisfy her needs in the bedroom. She tells me way too much about it and often. I think she likes to see me turn red.

Eamon Kavanagh
I hope that Kate says yes to Elliot's proposal. It would be a good marriage. He is settled and sewn his wild oats and decided Kate is the person he wants to settle down and have children with. This is a good thing for Kate and our family because we can get the inside scoop on the Grey family. Kate has told me not to get any ideas about using her to get information on the Grey family and was very serious about it. I threatened to stop paying for her college but Enid told me that I was out of line and that she was in charge of the trust funds for their college and their future. I knew not handling that would come back to bite me in the butt and it has. Enid might seem like a housewife, but she is more than that behind the scenes. She is the power behind  Kavanagh Media Group and I am merely the figurehead who gets his walking orders from her. Her clothing designs are what got us into the Media game. Most people don't know the truth about who holds the title on all our properties. She had the money and bought everything. After she caught me cheating she had my name removed of all joint anything. The credit card bill from my mistress going on a shopping spree without my permission was how she found out. I wrote a check for the bill and the bank sent an alert about the sizable check and she looked into it. Her detective followed me and ended things between the girl and me by arresting the girl for credit card fraud. I am not a happy camper and the women who go after me are just wanting the money, even though I am a very attractive man, they like to be treated to expensive everything. I have a certain amount of money to spend and nothing more. I get a nice salary and cars along with an expense credit card which has a limit on it. Now I have to get an approval for anything over a thousand dollars. Enid definitely is making sure our children are going to have a lucrative business to inherit. We live well and have staff Enid just doesn't want me spending money on other women, especially ones who just want to use me for my money and hopefully Enid's money as well. They have no idea I signed a prenuptial agreement and I only get my cars our apartment and keep my salary and my job and my meager savings and stocks that she gave me as a gift. I am hoping to find a woman with money now, not one looking for a man with money.

Elliott
Mr Kavanagh was ready for me to elope with Kate, when he said that I laughed and realized he was very serious about it. I told him that Kate wouldn't go for that and neither would anyone marrying into the Grey family. Little did I know that my words would come back to haunt me. He and I talked about a few things then he asked questions regarding Christian and different things that I had no clue about and I finally told him that I don't discuss my brothers business or personal business with anyone. I might need to get him and the rest of the Kavanagh family to sign NDA's in the near future. Kate has went up against him about trying to get her to get information from us when she was around us and she refused. I overheard a phone call and she told him no and she ended up in tears because of her father. Her mother came to her rescue. Enid doesn't allow Eamon to dictate to their children. Rumors that he cheats on her and she couldn't care less. His dalliances don't last long. Mom tells me that Eamon can't divorce Enid if he likes living in her home and has staff and influential friends. She says the women chasing after him have no idea he owns nothing, his first fling somehow ended up owning the home they used to have their trusts at. Plus she went through most of the money he had saved up. The prenuptial agreement they signed had a clause that says his bills will be paid by him and him alone. I think that's a pretty good move on Enid's behalf.

Kate
Elliott seems very nervous and he usually isn't. I am sitting in the private booth that belongs to his brother at his brother's newest restaurant. Mia is the head chef and is training to open her own place in the next few years. So she has created all of my favorite foods along with a special desert. She came out and told us how the food was going to be served and disappeared. As we eat the deliciously made food Elliott is definitely nervous. He is trying to watch his alcohol intake by drinking water. Soon the deserts come out and both have covers on them in the shape of a heart. It's Valentine's Day already? Elliott takes the covers off the deserts and has me look at the heart shaped crème brûlée one says will you marry me and the other has the ring on a stand sitting in the middle of the heart. I start crying and he asks me if that is a good cry for yes or a bad cry for no. I say yes and he grabs the ring and runs off, but comes back and gets on one knee and puts the ring on my finger. It's the ring I wanted.
