I step away from the window and start to walk back to my bed. My gaze drifting to the ceiling above. The question of what Danish wants plagues my mind, it's persistence gnawing at me. Why would he come here, to this secluded place where I sought solace.

I glance at the wall clock, it's hand pointing to 11:45 pm. A sigh escapes my lips as I close my eyes, willing myself to sleep. But the question lingers, a persistent echo in the silence of the night.

After a few minutes of futile attempts. I feel myself drifting into slumber. The weight of my eyelids grows heavy, and the world around me fades into darkness.

As I lay in bed, faint whispers reached my ears. I blinked, struggling to focus on the voice. It was a male, singing a haunting melody : "hume tumse pyaar kitna yeh hum nahi jante magar jee nahi sakte tumhare bina", the words sent shivers down my spine as my heart pounded against my chest.

With trembling hands, I opened my eyes to find Danish sitting before me, his face adorned with sinister smile. His gaze sent a chill through my body, making me retreat into the sheets. "Why are you here? I demanded, my voice barely a whisper. "How did you get in?".

"Hello. jaan", he replied, his smile widening. "I'm here to see you". He rose from his chair and approached my bedside, but I recoiled in fear. "Stay there!" I shouted.

Undeterred, he sat down beside me, his presence casting a shadow over my heart. The fear in my eyes reflected in his gaze, but it only seemed to fuel his amusement. "Don't be afraid", he whispered, his voice as cold as the night air. "I'm not here to hurt you. I just want to talk".

"What do you want to talk about?", I asked, gulping my saliva as I looked at him warily. His appearance was unsettling - he was clad in all black, from head to toe, and even wore a mask that he had pulled down at his chin. A black cap concealed his hair.

A shiver run down my spine as he met my gaze, a sinister smile playing on his lips. His voice sent a wave of nausea through me. "Umm, I want to marry you", he said, his words dripping with an unnerving sweetness.

I stared at him, my mind reeling. "Excuse me, what did you just say?", I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

"I want to marry you", he repeated, a giggle escaping his lips.

"But, I don't want to marry you", I snapped, glaring at him. How dare he make such a ridiculous proposal?.

"Kya kaha apne?", he asked, his voice a low murmur as he pulled me towards him by my ankle. His body hovered over mine, his eyes glinting with an intensity that made my heart pound like a drum against my chest.

I lay there, feeling terrified. His presence was overwhelming, and I could feel the heat of his body radiating onto mine. Tears formed in my eyes as I struggled to free myself from his grip.

"Hey, get off me", I said, my voice trembling. I pushed against his shoulders, but he remained unmoved. His smile widened as he hovered over me, his eyes locking with mine.

"Stop smiling", I said, and hit his shoulder with my fist, but he only laughed.

"You look cute", he said, his voice soft and teasing. He reached out and grabbed both of my hands, pinning them above my head.

"Let go of my hands", I shouted, struggling to free myself from his relentless grip. A surge of panic coursed through me as he drew closer, his face hovering just inches from mine. His piercing gaze sent shivers down my spine and, I froze, unable to move a muscle.

"Main aap se boht mohabbat kartu hu, Maryam", he whispered, his warm breath fanning my lips. His voice was laced with a haunting sweetness that made my heart pound in my chest. As he nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck, goosebumps erupted all over my body.

"I think you are not in your right mind", I stammered, desperate to break the spell that seemed to have enveloped me. "You're talking nonsense", I tried to turn my head away, but he held my face firmly in place with one hand, while the other pinned my hands above my head.

"I'm perfectly sane, baby", he murmured caressing my cheek with his thumb. Tears welled up in my eyes as I realized that resistance was futile. I lay there, trapped and helpless, as his words washed over me like a tidal wave of emotion.
