Neliono
After the painfully silent ride home, Mario escorted us inside to the dinner table without another word like we're some sort of felons. Like boy, grow up. Slowly the angry act gets kinda awkward. I mean, who 45 year old man throws a tantrum because of some revealed "secrets"?
Well, right: Our whole family each time we just breathe.
As you can probably already guess, my thread of patience is slowly running low. Our life is getting out of control - and I hate loosing control. Normally, we manage to combine our different lifestyles just perfectly fine. However, not only increased the amount of things to sort out like the upcoming competition season, our planned music tour, the obliged mafia ball and business meetings, but also the family situation.
When can we leave the house unnoticed?
When do we have to be present for family activities?
What must we tell them?
The last one concerns us the most at the moment. The clinical condition of Daleroy and Dalerio, our two three year old twin boys, is getting worse again and I can't help and feel guilty for it. Normally, we let them stay by Oskari and Lys during work but never longer than a week at most. Now, it has been already two weeks without any contact.
{The further conversation between Neliana and Neliono is in Norwegian}
"We need to bring them here." I state into the silence, not quite sure if it's really directed at Li or more to myself. Out of my side vision, I see Li's head snap to me fast, an unbelievable look in her eyes.
"Sorry, could you repeat that for me? Didn't get it." I roll my eyes and uncrossed my arms to lean forward, facing her directly.
"Daleroy and Dalerio. We need to bring them here-"
"'m not bringing them here."
"Li-"
"No Nic! I'm not bringing them in a house full of men bitches who can't even handle their own testosterone let alone deal with it properly!"
"I know-"
"Apparently not! Nic, they couldn't fucking keep us safe or use their freakin' power to find us! 'm not bringing our kids to such disappointments. We'll literally put a sign on their bags saying take me!"
I scrunch my brows together, totally exhausted by our current situation. Li clearly has a point, but so do I.
"What's ur fucking suggestion then, my sister dearest?"
She rolls her eyes. "Don't know-"
I raise an eyebrow critically.
"-yet. But one question, my brother dearest, how do u plan on delivering these news? Knocking on the front door with Daleroy and Dalerio next to us and yelling: Surprise, Stefano ur a granddad at the age of 49?" Li rambles on mockingly. "Oh and one more thing, how the fuck do u plan on explaining how two fourteen year old teenagers end up with two three year old kids? Have fun with that convo, but 'm out, sweetheart."
This time, it's my turn to roll my eyes frustrated.
"I DON'T FUCKING KNOW, OKAY?! ALL I KNOW, IS THAT DALEROY AND DALERIO ARE SLOWLY DYING ON THESE STUPID DECEASE AND WE DON'T KNOW HOW LONG WE STILL HAVE WITH THEM!" I didn't mean to whisper shout or burst out and as soon as I look at Li's shocked face, I instantly regret it. I take a deep breath, hoping to calm down my racing heart a bit.
