Just like how Long Shu Fen couldn't recognize any of her sect's Elders, the Elders weren't familiar with her either. If they had ever seen her, then it should have been during the battle back then, and who had really had the time to remember any faces at that time? As such, the two of them glanced at the newcomer and only felt confusion.

The person was clearly wearing the robe of their Jian Chu Sect so by all rights, she should be one of the disciples they had brought over here. But ... they didn't recognize her at all. Thinking about everyone they had taken along, there wasn't any disciple they were less familiar with either. So where did this woman come from?

Elder Cai faintly raised his brows at Long Shu Fen. "This disciple, did you —"

Elder Meng next to him quietly tugged at his sleeve to stop him, his expression subtle.

Cai Wei turned his head and hummed, unsure what the other person meant.

Meng Qing could only purse his lips and gesture toward the belt of the so-called 'disciple'. Everyone in the sect had one that was of the same size and shape but the carvings differed depending on their status in the sect. And, well, that sure wasn't a sect token a disciple would have.

Elder Cai didn't get it for a moment but following his gaze ... he slowly blinked his eyes and then barely stopped himself from rubbing them. Please excuse him, but was he seeing things right now? That was indeed no disciple token but it wasn't the token of an Elder either and he for sure wouldn't fail to recognize their own Sect Master so ... that only left one identity this person could have, didn't it? Plus, their sect did happen to be the only one with a female guardian ...

Elder Cai coughed furiously when his thoughts caught up to him. He had just called their sect's guardian a disciple. Their guardian who was the main reason the guardians were confined to a small part of the sect grounds because the things she could do were really too terrifying. Please remind him whether this person was one to hold grudges?

Elder Meng quietly reached up to pat his back. He also used the opportunity to take over and hurriedly lowered his head in greeting. "Guardian. What circumstances do we owe the honor of your visit?" Even though the guardians were supposed to stay in the sect, now that one of them clearly wasn't doing that, he wouldn't make a fuss about it either.

Anyway, he didn't know if she had gotten permission for this outing or if maybe she had even been sent specifically by their Sect Master. No matter what, it was still best to first inquire and then decide what to do about this.

Although, to be frank, what was there that they could do? Even if she wasn't allowed to be here, they could hardly grab her and drag her back, could they? For one, they didn't have the time, and two, with her ability, she would easily be able to evade any attempts they made. Her so-called 'confinement' had always hinged on her willingness to actually stay put and likely the fact that she had friends she wanted to protect.

Long Shu Fen had never been one to care too much about details. She directly ignored Elder Cai who still hadn't calmed down and instead spoke to Meng Qing. "I heard you went through a fight and lost a lot of disciples. It's no good for them to remain here if you really want to blow up the building so I'll take them and bring them to a safe place."

Meng Qing's brows rose slightly. He had no idea how she knew but ... it didn't matter right now either. In fact, even if he had had the leisure to think about it, he wouldn't. One of the disciples they had lost was still that of his sister. Telling her that she was dead would be bad enough but having to go to her and tell her that she had not just died but that she hadn't even been left with an intact body ... he really couldn't bring himself to do so.

So what if their guardian was breaking the rules and somehow inquiring about news as well? She had used both to come and do something for their disciples. He'd be a fool to hold that against her and so would the other Elders be. Of course, not having been in this situation, it was still possible to attract their anger later.

Meng Qing nodded, his thoughts moving fast. "Where does the guardian want to take them? If you want to bring them back to the sect directly, just use my main courtyard or go and see my sister."

Long Shu Fen looked at him in confusion. Honestly, she neither knew who his sister was nor was she aware of who this guy was so naturally, she didn't know where she would find his courtyard either. Finding a place to put these bodies first was important though.

None of the other people had interrupted the conversation so far, feeling that this was a matter of the Jian Chu Sect since their guardian was the one who had come out.

At this point though, Shen Lei couldn't help but clear his throat. While he didn't know the specific situation, it was obvious that Blue Butterfly was having some kind of trouble with this. "Senior, do you want us to bring you over to see ... the people?"

Long Shu Fen hurriedly nodded. She really didn't want to argue about where to bring them. Anyway, in the worst case, she'd just lay everyone out on the other side of her lake or maybe go and visit the others. In fact, it would be a good opportunity. She could deliver every sect's disciple to their own sect grounds. That would make things much easier later on ...
