"I haven't seen the platform this packed since our first day," Anzac said.
"I swear the next person to step on me is getting hexed," Lucy rolled her eyes.
We were all being shoved, there was literally no space on this platform. I don't understand why it seems far more crowded than it was before. On top of that, everything was just so chaotic. I could hardly hear Anzac and Lucy, parents were shouting, some of the younger students were either having a breakdown or looking for their parents. Older students were trying to get on board or in the mix of everything else going on.
It was just so loud and hardly any space to move as some students had their suitcases and trolley's, then there were big groups of families. The train wasn't even here yet, that's something out of the ordinary. It's always on time.
"What time is it?" Anzac asked.
"It's 5 o'clock." I answered, "Our boarding time is 4:30."
"The train isn't even fucking here, that means we should've left by now."
"We need to stop," Lucy shouted, we all paused where we were as people still shoved on by, "Something isn't right, this is why everyone is freaking out."
Anzac exchanged looks between Lucy and I.
Someone then shouted, "There's no way out! There's no way out!"
"It's bewitched!" Someone else shouted, "This entire platform!"
People started screaming, more concern flooded the entire place.
"Have your wands out!" Anzac shouted at me and Lucy.
Everyone was pushing now, the three of us quickly got separated as we called out for each other. There's absolutely no where to go but people are so desperate to find or make way. The loud engine of the train coming in causes only seconds of stillness before it comes to a halt. The doors aren't even opened yet people are banging on them to open.
Good luck trying to be first, every student was fighting to be on board. Parents were pushing their child to the very front. I kept looking behind me trying not to let my guard down, at the same time looking for Anzac or Lucy. I noticed the doors of the cab open up, and out came the guards we see at Hogwarts. They just scattered across the platform, not really doing anything to deescalate what was happening.
But something wasn't right, I couldn't shake the feeling off. They had to be here for Harry I'm assuming. The doors opened and students began to board the train as soon as they did.
I kept turning back noticing that altercations started to arise with the guards. They were either pushing parents away from the students or screaming at them. I turned to my right and saw one of the guards push luggage of student's down knocking over another student's.
I was breathing heavily, battling with myself not to go into a panic attack right now. I just needed to get on this train. While everyone kept shoving and bumping into me, I tried pushing back, I just needed to get on this train.
I focused and ignored everything. I just need to get on this fucking train and away from everyone.
I felt everything go quiet and almost still, I could still sense everything around me but not within myself. I could hear the pulse of my heart and faint shouting. I felt a hand grab me and pull me back.
Lucy Mounson (POV)
I was in a compartment with random people, I think we all were. We didn't exactly get time to pick who we can sit with. I was the only Slytherin here, there was an older and younger girl both from Ravenclaw who I think are sisters. Another younger student from Gryffindor, and two older students from Hufflepuff.
