"Did they ever catch Jocelyn?" Luke asked as we laid in each other's arms. He was rubbing soothing circles into the side of my hip as I laid my head on his beating heart.

"Yeah they found her at Calum's house," I said, and I felt Luke sit up a bit, his gaze focusing on me.

"Calum?" He asked in confusion, eyebrows knitting together.

"Yeah. Calum Hood. He's the one you hired to be my driver in Chicago. Trust me; I was as weirded out as you," I began.

"Apparently he's the one she's been seeing. It was just a crazy ass coincidence that you hired him for that week."

Luke was silent for a while. "I knew Calum before I hired him. We were good friends in college. Jocelyn always knew Calum," he said quietly, "Calum always loved her. But she loved me. Or at least, that's what she said."

My mouth dropped open at this. I couldn't believe she would stoop so low. Of course, I had already known this information front Calum. But for him to be doubting her love for him? For someone to believe that all their effort into that was fake?

"She did Luke. Not as much as she should of have, but she did. And of course, it's not as much as I love you," I told him honestly, and he captured his lips with mine.

I sighed blissfully when we pulled away. I could kiss him for days if he'd let me.

"But uh, yeah," I continued, the kiss still making my head feel fuzzy, "Jocelyn was literally crazy. They found high measures of anxiety and a disorder. Before that...night, she told me she had been hearing voices that told her to kill me," I explained, hating the look of disgust on Luke's face. "She's admitted into the local Asylum right now. She won't be getting out anytime soon, and she won't be getting any of the stuff you had originally promised her. The divorce should still be official in a few weeks," I told him and he gave me a small amused smile.

"Someone did their research while I was gone."

I shrugged, leaning into his chest. "I wanted to make sure that you didn't have anything to worry about when you got out."

He gave me another kiss. "God, I'm so fucking lucky.," he whispered against my lips and I couldn't help the crazy smile that appeared on my face.

Luke grinned widely back at me, allowing his dimples to become visible.

"What?" I asked, running my hands through his hair.

"Well, isn't this such a beautiful happily ever after. The monster is locked up and the guy gets his girl," he said, as I laughed at his corniness.

"Happily ever after doesn't exist, Luke."

He pursed his lips. "Your right, it doesn't," he admitted, kissing the side of my jaw.

"But this is as close as it gets."

Also, I kinda want some help on my new story. Peoples PM me some ideas! Basically, it's a paranormal romance, where Luke will be a ghost and the main character is the only one who can see him. That's all I'm giving away for now ;)
