Liah's POV:
I got out of my bathroom, all ready for the day. I walked downstairs to be greeted by a grinning Luke making me breakfast. "Is this a usual thing you do?" I asked. He shook his head. "No, since it's your first day at the new school, I thought I started the morning with pancakes." he smiled, handing me a plate with apple pancakes. "Thank you" I mumbled and dived into my breakfast. After we were done he handed me a pack of gum after he took one. "Helps you with making friends" he winked. I giggled and walked out of the door, following Luke. "It's just a ten minute walk. And since I my car is in use by mum at the moment, I can't drive." he said and I nodded. Whilst walking towards our school, we talked about what my life was like before I moved to the Hemmings household. And how my life was before I was replaced to a new family. It was hard to talk about but I like the fact that Luke listens intently to every word I said. But that was over when we approached the school and the most embarrasing ever happened.
