Anyway, he kind of stuttered at first, but Professor Slughorn urged him on. He named two things..only two. The first was cinnamon and the second was pumpkin pasties. Of course he'd smell food....
He said that he could smell something else, but wasn't sure what it was. How can you NOT be sure what it is? He mumbled something about cheese...I don't know. Peter can be a really weird guy sometimes...
When asked why, he just kind of spluttered and said that he liked pumpkin pastries. He didn't explain the cinnamon though...
