Blacks was a bit different.
He calmly spoke. He had three things. The log fire in the Gryffindor common room, Treacle tart, and Motor oil.
Those smells DO NOT MIX or MAKE SENSE.
When asked why, he said that his best memories were in the Gryffindor common room, he first tried Treacle tart during Christmas at the Potters house, and Motor oil was for obvious reasons.
Motor oil? Last time I checked, that smell was awful! And WHY did he love Christmas at the Potters house but not his own. I know his family can be quite a handful but they're not that bad....right?
Most people would smell their parent's perfume, or their crush's cologne....Sirius liked motor oil.
