School was a daze but I jumped every time a guy spoke to me.

"It was just a hickey, you can't be that paranoid!" Liz said scornfully.

"It was a hickey, a freaking HICKEY!" I screamed, half-mad.

My eyes flickered around in my eye sockets. The stupid jerk has now driven me mad.

"Like my souvenir?" a male voice said slyly and a hand rested on my shoulder.

I slapped it away, knowing that it was Sasuke, "Freak off, you damn asshole!" I glared at him, my eyes were probably bloodshot.

He raised his eyebrow, "This is what a hick-" I clamped my hand down on his mouth.

"Shut up! I'll kill you later!" I hissed.

He gripped my hand and pulled it off of his mouth, "But you just screamed it out loud" he protested.

My eyes widened and my legs turned to jelly, "Hey, Sasuke?" I called weakly.

He looked at me worriedly, "Yeah?".

"Find me a skydiving plane, I need to jump out of it with no cords, no parachutes, no nothing" I said bleakly.

He gave me a pained smile, "Come on, my hickey wasn't that bad was it? You tasted pretty good anyways" he smiled mischievously.

I turned around and began to pummel him, "I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!" I cried, infuriated.

Slowly, my punches became weaker and weaker until they finally came to a stop. Liz looked at Sasuke awkwardly and motioned towards Gaara. He nodded and gave her the thumbs up.

"Um, I'm going to hang out with Gaara for a bit...I think that you should talk it out with Sasuke" she said softly and ran after Gaara, clinging onto his arm.

I looked at her wistfully, "Why couldn't I have such an easy relationship?" I whined.

"I could make that happen" Sasuke whispered in my ear.

"Damn it! Stop that!" I flailed my fists around, hoping that one of my poorly aimed attacks could hit him, "Why are you so damn confident?!" I demanded.

He looked at me with eyes glazed with love, "It's because I'm in love with you" he said quietly.

"Oh, wow, I've never heard that line before" I snorted derisively.

"No, really, you're right. Nobody should love someone because of their appearance but of their personality. I'm glad that I love both" he showed his white teeth in another calming smile.

"Ew! I hate cheesy lines like those the most!" I made the motion of barfing.

"Don't worry, I'll keep trying" he enveloped me in a bone-crushing hug, "You're so cute" he squeaked.

"Okay, now I'm worried" I sighed, too tired to fight back.

"Oh yeah, about the art project today, could you come to my house instead?" he held me back, looking at me from a short distance.

I narrowed my eyes, "Will your brother be home?" I began to put a plan together in my head.

"Yeah, why?" he asked, genuinely curious.

"I still want to keep my virginity, thank you very much" I said haughtily.

"So I'll take that as a yes?" he said uncertainly.

"Duh".

He gripped my hand and began to drag me towards his house. I didn't try and ease out of his grip, too lazy to do so, though I couldn't help but notice how smooth his hand was...and how strong it felt. I shook my head, clearing it. I'm going crazy...goodbye, sanity!
