Smile♡

"Hi (Y/N)~!" (C/N) runs up to you, grinning.

You give him a brief nod, continuing to walk towards the school.

People gave you and (C/N) weird looks. They whispered to each other as if you couldn't hear them. You've gotten used to all of this by now already. But.. it still hurts.

"Hey (C/N)! Don't talk to her anymore man! She's weird." A boy in your class shouts, making everybody around him laugh.

(C/N) ignores the boy and continues to walk beside you. "So, (Y/N). Want to hang out after school today?"

You shake your head no. Every day, he always asks you this question. You always respond the same way. You sigh, wondering why this kid is even talking to you. In fact, he's the only person who talks to you. Everybody else stays away from you. Why? Because they think you're weird and emotionless. You never smile. Not in school otherwise. You used to be an energetic girl, but your parents' deaths made you who you are now. Nobody knows this. Now, you don't ever smile anymore. You don't talk as much as you used to either.

"Aw~ Come on (Y/N)! I promise you it'll be super fun!"

You glare at him. "......."

"Hey, don't be like that now. Please..?" He gives you puppy eyes, making you blush lightly.

You sigh, nodding. He grins, "YES! YOU FINALLY SAID YES! MEET ME AT THE PARKING LOT, OKAY? OKAY. SEE YOU LATER (Y/N)~!"

'Maybe I should've said no...'

"(Y/N)! You actually waited for me! Thanks!"

You nod.

"So.. do you like ice cream?"

You nod again.

"Great! Lets go to this awesome ice cream place! I'm a regular customer there." He grabs your hand and starts running.

You blush at the sudden contact. But.. it felt nice. 'Wait, what am I thinking?!' You try to yank your hand out, but couldn't. You sigh in defeat.

"We're here~! Good afternoon Mrs.Shipper!" He bows down politely to the owner, a beautiful young lady.

She chuckles, "I told you to stop bowing down to me every time you come here." She smiles warmly at you. "And who is this (C/N)? Is this possibly your girlfriend?"

Before (C/N) could answer, you quickly shake your head no. She raises an eyebrow, looking down. "Is that so? You both look as if you are made for each other. Why are you both holding hands?"

You blush a deep shade of red, yanking your hand out of his. 'This is embarrassing..'

"You're adorable my dear. What's your name?"

"Her name is (Y/N). She doesn't talk much," (C/N) answers for you.

You sigh in relief. Mrs.Shipper nods in understanding. "What shall I get you two lovebirds today?"

"U-Uh.. lovebirds..?" (C/N) blushes, looking down.

"Oh dear~! Did I say lovebirds? I totally don't ship you both or anything, hahahaha.."

You clear your throat awkwardly, pointing to your favorite ice cream flavor in the glass case. She nods, handing you and (C/N) your ice cream. "Goodbye, be safe you two~!"

"Thanks (Y/N) for accepting my request. I had a lot of fun!" He smiles.

You nod, feeling a bit of sadness. "T-Thanks.."

"No problem. As long as you had fun, then I'm happy! But.. can you do me one last favor..? Please..?"

You nod slowly.

"Smile.. for me..?"

You look away from him, frowning. "I can't..."

"You can.. I believe in you. I believe that you can do it," he gives you a goofy grin.

Your lips form into a smile slowly. "Pfft.. ahahah!" You laugh/smile for the first time in a very long time. "Y-Your face..!" Realizing what just happened, you quickly cover your mouth and blush. "S-Sorry.."

(C/N) grins, "I-I can't believe I actually made you smile and laugh... BEST DAY EVER!" He waves goodbye to you, running home shouting "I MADE HER SMILE!"
