One-shots [Crush x Reader]

Dance Practice♡

As I promised, here's a one-shot for you all c: In this one, you and (C/N) are dancers at a.. well, dance studio. I had to do some research on the dances and such :P Hopefully you'll like this, @Starr_Gazer_19.

"Today class, you all will be practicing ballroom dancing. And yes, I will be choosing your partner."

You nervously look around until your eyes land on (C/N). You play with your fingers, a part of you silently hoping that you won't get him as your partner while the other part wants him as your partner.

"And.. lastly (Y/N) and (C/N)."

"What." You accidentally blurt out as you quickly cover your mouth with your hand. "I-I mean.."

A few chuckles fill the room as you look down in embarrassment. Mrs.Shipper smiles, "Is everything okay (Y/N)?"

"Uh.. yes of course!" You mumble, head still down.

"Then lets begin~!"

"Wow, you're.. amazing." (C/N) mumbles once the music ends. "I mean, you didn't mess up at all for any of the dances! That's just.. wow."

You smile shyly, "You did great yourself."

"What? Me? I kept messing up on the Quickstep!"

"It is one of the most difficult ballroom dances. I think you did rather well," you smile.

"W-Well.. if you say so.. thanks." He blushes a bit, grinning.

"Excellent job to all of you! Now that we have done the Cha-Cha, Quickstep, and Foxtrot.. the last one we will be practicing is one of the most popular ballroom dances of all time, the Waltz!" Mrs.Shipper announces happily, turning on the music.

"Great, a simple one to end off the class. Ready whenever you are." He smiles, bowing down to you.

You both position yourselves correctly, him clasping your right hand into his left while his right hand holds your shoulder blade. You place your left hand at his shoulder seam as you two begin dancing.

Mrs.Shipper stares at you both in awe, smiling. "I made an excellent choice, partnering those two together. Look at them~ They look like a couple!"

You decide to take it up a notch, adding a quarter turn. (C/N) grins, adding in various combinations of basic turns and steps. You're so engross in the dance that you didn't notice the whole class watching you two dance.

The music ends as he lets go of you, bowing down once more. "Thank you for the lovely dance."

You smile, "Likewise."

Your smile fades as you quickly look down and blush, hearing the applause. Mrs.Shipper walks toward you two, smiling brightly. "I absolutely loved how you two added in some basic turns and steps. Outstanding!"

You both thank her as she makes one last final comment before allowing the class to pack up. While you're packing up, (C/N) walks up to you. "I'm heading to the new frozen yogurt place that recently opened up. Would you like to come and join me..?"

You look up at his blushing face and smile, "I would love to!"
