Stop And Stare♡

@Starr_Gazer_19 wanted another drawing-related one-shot. I've had this idea for quite a while now and although it isn't really 'drawing-related', hopefully it's still okay with you!

You're in the Honors Art club. There is a huge event over at the elementary school and they're in need of face painters. You decide to attend the event, although the only thing that's somewhat holding you back is the fact that there is going to be a ton of people there.

You sigh, "What should I do (B/F/N)?"

"Well I'm going so you're forced to go with me." She replies back.

"Fineee. I guess.." You mumble.

"YESS! Let me go sign us up~!" She runs off to the signing sheet, leaving you thinking if you made the right choice or not.

And.. you made the wrong choice.

"(C/N)~! Lets get our face painted!"

"Okay, okay!"

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no...." You mumble, trying your best to cover your face.

"Oooh~ Look who it is (Y/N)! Your prince charming!"

"Ah, (C/N)~! Great to see you and your little sister here! These two lovely ladies here can do your faces." Mrs.Shipper smiles at you and (B/F/N). "(Y/N) and (B/F/N)."

"I must be dreaming- OW!" You rub your arm and glare at the laughing girl next to you.

"Nope, you're not dreaming! Now don't be rude to (C/N)! He's waiting." She waves at the girl in front of her, making you look up. "Come here, I'll do your face while she will do your brother's face, okay?"

"Okay~! I think I want to look like a tiger!"

(C/N) sits down on the chair next to you as you both change your position, sitting so that you both are facing each other. He smiles, "Hey (Y/N)."

"Hi." You smile, starting to feel your cheeks heat up.

"I didn't think you would attend this event." He chuckles, "My mom forced me to go with my little sister."

"Yeah.. (B/F/N) kinda forced me to go. Anyways, what would you like?"

He smiles, "What a friend she is. Uhh I guess-"

"A tiger! He wants a tiger!" His sister chirps. "And paint his whole face!"

"Will you look at that.. you get to examine his beautiful face~" (B/F/N) whispers in your ear.

You blush and pick up a sponge, dabbing it in orange paint. You cover his face with orange paint, leaving certain areas unpainted. For the unpainted areas, you use yellow and white.

You grab the paintbrush and dip the bristles into black paint, painting stripes on his face. Your eyes meet with his, making both of you blush a bit. You two continue to gaze into each others' eyes. Seconds soon becoming a minute. You break the eye contact and continue to paint on stripes.

"How are you girls doing over here?"

You jump in surprise, making you mess up a stripe. "Darn.."

"Sorry dear!" Mrs.Shipper smiles apologetically. "I saw you two lovebir- I mean I saw you two staring at each other and had to come over to see if everything's alright~!"

"It's fine. We're doing okay, thanks.." You smile shyly and grab a wet paper towel.

You lean in a bit closer, dabbing at a stripe. Once again, your eyes meet with his. Your face reddens, realizing that you're way too close to his face. You lean back and avert your eyes, "Sorry.."

"It's.. fine.." (C/N) mumbles, face reddening.

After a while, both you and (B/F/N) finish. "I hope you like it.."

You hand him a small mirror. He grins as he looks at his face, "I'm looking pretty fine~! Nice job!"

You smile, looking down. "You're welcome."

His sister runs up to him, showing off her face. You watch the two of them laugh together. He chuckles, ruffling her hair. "ROAR!"

"Ahh~ No!" She giggles, running away.

He laughs, "Hey! Come back here!"

"Thanks (Y/N). See you tomorrow!" (C/N) waves goodbye to you, running after his sister.

"Aw.. look at you with that lovey-dovey expression. You're so into him!" (B/F/N) nudges you.

You frown and look away, feeling flustered. "I-I don't know what you're talking about!"

"Young love.." She sighs, smiling to herself.
