"OMG, TELL ME! YOU BOTH ARE DATING NOW, RIGHT?!"

You laugh, "You know those stories where the girl and her crush becomes best friends and both of them end up together?"

Your best girl friend squeals, jumping up and down. "YES, YES, YES~! I KNEW IT!"

"Except.. it didn't end that way."

She stops jumping, looking at you confusedly. "What are you trying to say..?"

You sigh, looking at her with watery eyes. "He's.. dating someone. And really, I'm happy for him but I can't help but feel a bit of sadness. We don't hang out as much as we used to anymore and I.." You sob, tears spilling out.

She pats your back gently, handing you a tissue. "I'm.. sorry to hear that (Y/N).. I really am.." She hugs you, rubbing your back. "I'll always be here for you. I know you'll find that special someone. I mean, come on. You're (Y/N)! Who wouldn't like you?" She winks, making you laugh a bit.

"Thanks (B/G/F/N)." You manage a small smile, wiping your tears away. "You always know how to make me feel better."

"Hey! That's not all! Lets go get some frozen yogurt! I'll pay~"

"No, it's fine. It really is. I will!"

"No.. I will! I offered, didn't I?" She smiles, grabbing her wallet. "Lets go! Afterwards, we can watch a movie. And, I will be the one paying for the movie as well. No buts."

"Are you sure you don't want me to sleepover?" She asks for the millionth time.

"I'll be fine!"

"So.. how is your dad doing?"

"He's doing better, thanks!" You smile. "Although, at times he still has trouble breathing and stuff like that. He should be coming home either today or tomorrow."

"That's wonderful news! Text me if anything goes wrong, alright?"

You nod, walking into your house. "See you tomorrow (B/G/F/N)!"

"NO!" You scream, breathing heavily. "It.. was just a nightmare.."

You slowly get out of bed, looking at your phone to see that it's 7:00 PM. "I-It was just a-a nightmare (Y/N).. just a nightmare.."

Without thinking, you quickly pick up your phone to text (C/N).

You: I know it's late right now, but I need some company please. If you're busy, it's alright ^^

Sighing, you lay back down. Your heart keeps beating at a fast pace and sweat is starting to form on your forehead. "It felt so real.. WAIT A MINUTE. DID I JUST TEXT (C/N)?!?! OH CRAP, I FORGOT THAT HE IS HANGING OUT WITH HER. NONONONONONONONONONONONONO...!"

You: Actually I already have (B/G/F/N) with me! Good night!

"WHAT THE HECK (Y/N)! I just want to kick myself right now.." You mumble, putting on your coat. "I need some fresh air.."

"Well.. I definitely feel much better.."

The stars twinkle above as you're sitting quietly on the bench. This is your favorite park. You always come here whenever you're feeling down. You were planning on calling (B/G/F/N), but you decided not to since she has done so much for you already. Sighing, you close your eyes. "I miss you Dad.. please come home tomorrow."

"SORRY, AM I LATE?"

You open your eyes and quickly stand up, getting in a fighting stance. "MOVE ONE INCH AND I WILL- (C/N)?"

He chuckles, waving at you. "Hey (Y/N)~ Sorry I didn't mean to scare you. I received your text and got here as soon as I could!" He pants, wiping the sweat off his forehead.

"Didn't you tell me earlier that you're going to hang out with her today? You.. didn't have to come here.." You mumble, tears starting to well up in your eyes.

"She'll understand, I'm sure. Did you actually think I would just leave you here alone? My date can wait. All that matters right now is that you're safe. I was really worried when you didn't answer the door, so my last hope was here." He chuckles, "Of course, I remember you telling me that this is your favorite place. Hm, have I ever told you that you're such a bad liar? Even through text!" He laughs. "I don't see (B/G/F/N) anywher- (Y/N)..?"

"T-Thank you.. f-for coming.." You sniff, wiping your tears away. "I-I'm sorry.. I forgot about the whole hanging out thing and I just wasn't thinking when I decided to text you and I'm really sorry it's all my fault you should just go home now because I'm fine now and-" You stop, trying to catch your breath.

"Come here~" He mumbles, grabbing your hand to pull you into a warm embrace. "You can always count on me. I'll always be here for you. Always.."
