Whoa." I muttered as we stepped into the mansion. I looked around in awe.
"Rebekah, did you do all this?" She nodded with a smug look on her face. The foyer was covered in ruby red chinese lanterns, there was black and purple streamers covering any space it could find. There was silver confetti covering the ground as we walked in. Completely amazing.
"You had better not have destroy my house." Klaus warned as he held on tightly to the obviously in pain Cold One. Rebekah rolled her eyes.
"I thought it was our house Nik. Anyways I know all your little rules. Have some faith for once." She huffed. He rolled his eyes and dragged Edward towards the basement. My blood was dried in the cracks there. Ugh.
"I wonder if Cold Ones can be compelled." I said thoughtfully as we all threw them on the couch.
"Well let's find out." Kol smirked and leaned over a growling Bella.
"What shall I make her do, hmm?" He asked, turning his face to me. I thought about it.
"Make her hit her beloved monster?" I said, making it turn into a question at the end. He nodded and looked at her in the eyes.
"You want to hit your youngest daughter hard enough to leave a huge bruise but not hard enough to break anything. Can't break our playthings so early in the game, now can we?" He compelled.
"Someone get the mutt!" I cried out as he started to growl and stalk forward. Tyler hit him hard on the back of the head and glared at him.
"Stay put and don't make a sound." He growled. "Should I make him shift?" He asked me.
"NO!!!" They looked at me curiously.
"I prefer not to be scarred by his nakedness right now, if you don't mind." I shuddered. Everyone hastily nodded and we let it be. Meanwhile Bella was fighting the compulsion with all she has but was slowly inching towards a terrified Renesmee, who kept trying to get away and I sighed in annoyance.
"Stop moving!" I snapped and she was instantly immobile.
"Huh. I didn't think that would actually work. I guess I'm the only non-compelliable (My new word!) one here. Cool." I said idly.
"You're just special." Damon said soothingly as if I was three. I scowled and gave him the bird and picked up the presents they somehow managed to carry around this whole time.
"Thanks I guess." I grumbled. They nodded and I put them on the desk and faced the ever loving family. Bella was really fighting it but you could tell it was taking a strain on her. Her neck was starting to crack as her hand slowly raised. My eyebrow arched as I looked on in interest.
SMACK!!!!
The sound echoed through the quiet room. Renesmee sat there in shock but realization soon hit her.
"OWW!!!" She screamed and held her fastly color changing cheek.
"Oh God Nessie! I am so sorry!" Bella gushed out, looking immensely guilty. I cocked my head.
"What makes her so different from me? Besides the looks. I'm really curious." I finally asked. Everyone looked at me with varying emotions on their faces but I ignored them looking at the woman who gave birth to me. She snarled at me. I rolled my eyes.
"Oh calm down, wild cat. It was just a test. I can't really tell if you passed or failed so answer me this. I've been wondering over the years, why her? What makes her so special?"
"You're a freak." She hissed at me. Growls filled the air as I shrugged.
"A freak I may be but at least I got the cooler powers. I mean all she got is the ability to make you see what she wants you to see. Oh, another question. Why now of all days? Why here?" Esme spoke up nervously.
