"Just ice the damn thing Mi!" Jason yells out, his breathing getting heavier.
"I'm good." I smile. "I refuse." I sang. "Refuuuuuuse."
"You're so fucking stubborn!" Jason retorts trying to push the ice pack on to me which I swiftly slap away from his hands.
"Am I?" I laugh. "Because I think you're the one that's stubborn."
"I am not stubborn."
I feign a smile. "Glad we cleared that up."
He narrows his eyes and scoffs "Am I acting like a stubborn child who can't ice a damn bruise?" He asks annoyed.
"Yes." I reply without missing a beat.
"Exactly so why-- wait what?" He burrows his eyebrows.
"Huh?" I played dumb.
"What did you just say?" He asks amused.
"I said..." I stop dramatically. "Huh?" I repeat.
"No, before that."
"I said, I said."
"Before that." He asked getting frustrated.
"Before I said I said, I said I said."
"What?"Th- whatever." He said.
"So you'll ice it?" He tried again.
"No, I'm scared." I told him offhandedly .
"That's normal." He says sarcastically rolling his eyes. "Everyone's afraid of ice."
"Frigophobia." I say as if it's the obvious thing in the world. "Duh."
"Frigophobia means you're scared of the cold. Pagophobia is being scared of ice." Jason told me shaking his head.
"You know, it really bothers me when sometimes you sound just a tiny bit more intelligent that me."
"That's because I am smarter than you in every conceivable way possible." He throws me a flat look.
"Shut up Jason. This might come as a surprise but I'm not interested in your English lesson."
"It's more science than--well." Jason says smirking lightly with an evil glint in his eyes. "I have a delicious idea." He says grabbing the ice.
"Who even says things like 'delicious.'" I make a face. "Also, why are you holding the ice pack, I thought we were passed this."
"You ready?" He chuckles.
"Pagophobia! Pagophobia!" I scream at him running.
Jason grabs my shoulder and pushes me against a wall. "It's time to shut up now!" He laughs evilly. "This is for your own good. I was trying not to use force but here we are."
I visibly gulp.
"I hate my life."
