"What would you two like to order?"

"Pancakes."

"Waffles."

"Coming right up." The plump woman said with her soft southern accent.

"I really like this dinner." I say smelling the wonderful and delicious scents of everyone's breakfast.

"You mean McDonalds?" Jason asks chuckling loudly.

"Whatever." I say pouting. "Anyway, yes McDonalds."

"Yeah. I can't remember the last time
I came here." He says smiling slightly.

"Me neither. I mean was it last week or 3 days ago.. Nope, don't have a clue." I say wondering.

"Mi, it's been at least 3 years since I came here."

"SERIOUSLY?" I gape.

"Yeah."

"So you were nine?" I ask.

"Something like tha-- what no!"

"But you said 3 years ago."

"I'm a senior."

"Yeah and I'm a 12 grader too, so?" I ask wondering what he's getting at.

"I'm 18."

"I'm 17. I skipped a grade. Whats you're point?"

"What's 18 minus 3?"

"Umm 15."

" Very good." He claps.

I roll my eyes.

So where did you get nine?"

"It's Sunday, leave me alone." I pout.

"Here ya'll go. Better eat before it's cold." The lady says.

"Thank you." Jason and I say simultaneously.

"Who knew you were nice." I scoff.

"Oh Mi. I'm always nice. Like when you check me out, I don't say anything." He smirks.

"Yes you do. Always." I retort. My face becoming red.

He chuckles at my discomfort. "What? I do? Noo." He says in mock surprise.

"Shut up."

Jason looks at me with an amused expression.

"After we finish this, let's head up to the park and um, talk." Jason says, all traces of amusement gone.

"Ah, okay. But I don't have a car, how will we get there?" I ask.

"We'll walk." He answers smiling a bit.

"Jason quit being all what's the word. Oh yeah, nice."

"What do you mean?"

"You know exactly what I mean."

"Mia--"

"Jason, whatever you have to say, won't faze me a bit."

"I'm sure it will." He says looking at me with an unreadable expression.

I sigh in annoyance. "You're not an ex convict, are you?"

"I am."

What? I begin to panic. Oh no. What will I do? I have like 50 cents on me. I can give him that. Hell, that won't even be enough to buy a pack of gum.

"N-No, I'm kidding, you should've seen you face." Jason says laughing hard, earning stares at the restaurant.

"You're a jerk." I say sticking my tongue out.

"Shall we go?" Jason asks me getting up from the chair.

"I guess so."

As we arrive to the quiet park my palms begin to get moist. What have I gotten myself into. Who is this guy really?

"So," he says sitting down on the bench with me. "Where shall I start?"

"From the beginning."

He chuckles. His face becomes blank and he takes a deep breath.

"I was born and raised in a place that didn't have much of anything that you have here. This place was called Muerte Mundo."

****

Okay that's all I have!! Be ready for some real "Jason past."

Kiss don't diss ;)

............. Was that lame?
Yeah. I thought so too.

Burself. ;)

By the way, I just wanna let you know Muerte Mundo isn't just some random name, it has a specific meaning. It's a Spanish word that I'm not going to tell you the meaning of :))). The word being Spanish has no significance except the fact that it sounds really cool! :)

Right?

Hope you enjoyed!

Burself. ;)
