I suddenly have a huge gasp for air as if this is my first time breathing from being under water.
Andre: Relax Lexi, relax. You're safe.
I look around the room and it seems unfamiliar. Where am I?
Everything is white and light blue, the decoration of this place is very poor. I then realise that I'm in a hospital. I face Andre who is sitting on the side of my bed next to me. He stares at me in silence waiting for me to react but I stare back. He looks terrible, bags under his eyes, bloodshot eyes, his mouth droopy. Has he stayed awake this entire time waiting for me to wake up?
The doctor enters the room and address me
Doctor: Hello Alexis, I'm Doctor Nelson. You had a little accident and your brother here took you in
I face Andre and he doesn't make eye contact

Doctor: Well first of all, your body has not received enough sugar in it's system causing you to faint. It is been stated that you haven't eaten anything for a couple of days, this made you feel week and dizzy. You also fell and hit your head pretty badly, causing the coma
Me: COMA!
I shoot up
Doctor: Preserve your energy Alexis, lay down... Yes you was in a coma for just over a week. Don't worry everything is fine, you will be released soon we just need to do a couple of checks thats all. Lastly, due to this temporary situation you're only allowed 3 guests max. I'll get you a form for that right now alright?
I nod and Doctor Nelson left the room. I look at Andre and he looks away. What is goi-
All of a sudden I have flash backs of all the shit that happened before me blacking out. Simon is dead! Thinking of those words hurts me, it kills me inside and out. I feel to throw up! I'm disgusted that Andre chose money instead of my happiness. Andre turns to face me and realises that my expression went from worried and a concerned loving sister to dark and cold.
Me: Get out
Andre: Let's not do this here
Me: Then get out. I don't need you
Andre: Yes you do, whose going to take you home
Me: None of your concern
Andre: Of course it is you're my sister
Me: To me we're not related, to me you're a stranger, to me you're a drug dealer. I made it clear the conditions of what will happen if you let Simon die, you broke that and now you are dead to me

I slowly sit up right
Me: I will make your life a living hell. I am not staying with you guys or I'll tip the police

Andre stays shocked and silent.

I chuckle almost
Me: You have hundreds of guards, do you think that you have time to interrogate all of them? Hmm? Do you think they all will be truthful?
Andre: What do you want?
Me: To go back home! I know the coast is clear and you want to stay at the safe house a few more weeks to be sure but, I want out
Andre: It's not safe Lexi
Me: I don't care! Either that or jail. Your pick
Andre: I promised Simon that I'll prote-
Me: DON'T YOU DARE SAY HIS NAME!
Doctor Nelson rushes in with some papers
Doctor: Is everything okay here?
Me: Perfect
I say while staring into Andre's eyes
Me: Andre was just leaving, weren't you
Andre: Don't do this
He whispers
Me: It's already done
I whisper back
Slowly but surely Andre gets up shakes Doctor Nelson's hand and leaves
Doctor: Here are your visitor papers
Me: I don't think I'll be needing them
Doctor: Lexi you need someone to pick you up
Me: I don't need anyone, I'll stay here till I'm 100% then I'll leave by myself
Doctor: You sure?
Me: Positive
Doctor: Suit yourself
And he leaves the room
There's a window at the far corner of the room, it's facing a pointy glass building that looks familiar.... Is that? ... The shard?... Am I in London?
A couple of weeks went past and I'm finally getting released from this place. Andre has come to try and visit but, because I didn't put him on the visitors list.. Well I didn't put anyone, he never gets past the front desk. There's been so many altercations because of it. Simon's funeral was last week, his parents planned it, they needed to know what happened to their son. I'm just getting over that fact that he's actually gone and I won't be able to see him again.
Doctor: You ready Lexi
Doctor Nelson enters interrupting my thoughts. Me and Doc's relationship has grown, we have some sense of understanding towards each other and we both have the same humour.
