In my opinion, it shows the beautiful scenery that Kingdom Hearts artwork is kinda known for.

It also shows the X-blade in a broken state. Why is it broken, because after Ventus and Vanitas formed, the X-blade for physically, but not inside their hearts.
SO Vanitas asked Ventus to join him to for the Keyblade, but Ventus was like:

Vanitas tried to insult him
BUT VENTUS WITH THAT COMEBACK THO!!!
