Personally I love how Vanitas is always calm even in a fight. The only time that he panicked was when he lost his grip on DA X-BLADE! Other times that you fight and defeat him, he will SPRING BACK UP BY DOING A BARREL ROLL then we would congratulate you on your victory and leave.
