Chapter 17

I sat in my bed as I read my emails.

Lily sent me one praising my performance and telling me to wait while she calculated my earnings.

She's definitely more than just a translator.

I also exchanged emails with Mia sharing all the events that's been going on with my life.

I told her GD was probably scolded and I haven't heard from him since the concert.

TOP offered to take me home and Mia seemed of squeal about that.

Nothing really happened, I thanked him and crashed on the couch just because I was that tired afterwards.

Strangely, Jiyong's scent never went away on that couch.

It's night time now and I spent the entire day resting.

The Boss was kind enough to give me a day off since I'm not used to that level of hardcore performing. But I have to head off to his office to get another job first thing in the morning.

Mmmmm... Pizza for dinner...

I took the slice and munched on it with pure happiness.

I wonder what my idol is up to...

I opened G-Dragon's Instagram and saw nothing new. His tweeter wasn't updated either...

Well, it's only been a day since I stalked him...

As I flipped through his photos on other websites, my phone rung a specific ringtone.

It's him!

I stuffed the pizza slice in my mouth and quickly wiped the grease away with a napkin.

"Mmmhellho?" I swallowed my dinner and laughed. "Sorry, hello?"

"Hey." He's husky voice gave off a slight hint of tiredness.

"Hey Jiyong... What's up?"

"I want to hear your voice."

I blushed as I stuttered on my reply.

"Well... Uh, here I am!"

"You sound happy, did you have a good day?"

"I did! What about you? Did you have a good day?"

There was a slight pause before he answered.

"... Yeah. I did."

"Are you lying? I can hear it from your tone."

"Yes."

I struggled to think up a reply so I decided to change the topic.

"So what happened-"

"Sorry about yesterday."

There were many things he could've said sorry to, so I had no idea which one.

"About the concert?"

"About everything."

My eyes widened as I thought about broader things that could've meant 'everything.'

"It's not your fault...?"

"It is."

I'm getting more and more confused as I listened to the silence on his end.

"Where are you?"

"I'll tell you if you accept my apology."

"... Okay...? I accept your apology."

Knock knock.

That's my door... Creepy...

"I'm outside."

Oh!

I quickly shut the phone and fumbled to look decent, running to and back from the bathroom as I cleaned up the apartment a little.

"Good evening." I opened the door after the environment was presentable.

Without a word or a second for me to see his face, Jiyong wrapped his arm around me and hugged me tightly.

"I missed you."

I brushed his hair with my fingers as I hugged him back. He seemed so vulnerable that I had no choice but to want to protect him.

"I missed you too."

He's so warm.

I don't want to let go, but I have to.

I don't want him to get the wrong message.

I broke the hug when I had to close the door and invite him in.

He stared at me with a sad expression mixed with the exhaustion already imprinted on his face.

"Celia..." He sat down on the couch as I followed beside him.

He sighed and rubbed his eyes in a tiresome way.

"Yes?"

"Will you visit me tomorrow?"

"Depends, if I have the right job and the right time."

"I was suppose to pick out an assignment for you, but Boss..."

"What happened?"

He veered away and refused to look up.

"I'm being strictly watched until my solo is out."

So that's his punishment for the concert...

"You look very tired, you need to rest." I offered the couch but he rejected it.

"I can't rest, I don't have enough time."

"Why? Does it have to be out by a certain time?"

"Yes... I'm already behind."

I remembered Taeyang telling me that my accident pushed GD's schedule back a week.

Now my guilt came back tenfold seeing how stressed Jiyong looked.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay..."

He knew it was my fault.

I wish there was a way to help him.

I don't want to be his burden.

"So... What are you doing here if you're suppose to be working?"

"I wanted to see you." He stared into my eyes as I stared back. "I missed you so much."

"I-" I paused as I thought about what to say.

Did I miss him?

I missed G-Dragon... This is Jiyong.

What's wrong with me?

Gah!

"I don't want to get you into more trouble." I continued.

"I can't help but to be a bad boy." He smirked as I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Of course. G-Dragon, number one trouble maker."

He leaned closer and embraced me.

"I am Mr. G-Dragon." He cooed into my ear as I giggled.

"You're Jiyong, the perfectionist workaholic."

"I am both." His hot breath tickled my skin and I quickly turned to him.

Both?

But the on camera G-Dragon act so different from the off camera Jiyong.

"Which one is the actual you?" My question surprised him a little. I really wanted to know.

Was G-Dragon another side of him? Maybe there's a chance that this energetic boy I fell for actually exist...

Or Jiyong just made it up to please the fans...

"I am Kwon Ji Yong." He leaned his head on my shoulder and I couldn't help but to feel disappointed on the inside.

I knew it.

"Oh. Well, it was nice to see him every know and then."

"Who?" He gave me a confused look as I laughed nervously.

"Nothing, just mumbling to myself... Uh, don't you have to go back to work?"

"... Yeah, thanks for reminding me." He got up and walked to the door.

"Please be careful." I watched him put on his shoes but he stopped and grabbed my shoulders.

"I'm sorry I can't pick you up tomorrow, but, please come visit me."

I nodded with an unsure smile.

"I can get there myself, but... I don't know."

"Please."

I'm sorry...

"... Goodnight Jiyong."

I shut the door before he saw me break down.

G-Dragon was just a character acted out by Jiyong...

I didn't want to believe it, but it's true.

I'm in love with someone who doesn't exist.
