Chapter 55

Months went by with no success.

I used my influence, I researched, I even called people.

Where are you Yuko?

"Where are you Celia?" Jiyong called from the kitchen, I snapped out of my trance.

"I'm still packing haha." I yelled back from my closet and proceeded to stuff everything into one poor box.

"Well hurry up the movers will be here soon! And I'm hungry."

"Got it!" I smiled remembering that I would be moving in with him starting today.

My dream years ago is becoming a reality!
Oh how far I have came~

But.

At what cost?

"Boo!" Jiyong popped his head right in front of my face causing me to lose my balance and fall. He caught me swiftly and chuckled "you're so distracted, is it because you're imagining us for the first night together?" I blushed and pushed him away.

"Go get your takeout." I changed the subject to avoid my embarrassment.

"And then you're gonna cook for me everyday!" He grinned like a little boy and I pouted cutely. Not declaring that as a no.

Jiyong and I found a nice quiet restaurant nearby which he picked for the karaoke room. It made me remember the good o' times with the gang.

"I'm really excited about this new life we're going to have Celia." He poured us a drink as he reached for my free hand. "I'm really happy you came into my life." He wasn't looking me in the eye.

Was he nervous for the first time in his life?

"I'm really happy too." I responded, he glanced up real quick before taking a sip.

"Haha let's drink this whole bottle!" He cheered as I shook my head laughing.

"Let's not~"

"You're right. I have something serious I have to say." His voice changed to a serious tone and my attention was drawn.

Why so serious? Haha...ha.

"What is it?"

"Celia, I need to tell you something." He gulped and stared into my eyes. "I can't live without you." My hearted started racing. "Will you be with me forever?" I hesitated for a second on that phrasing but nodded with confidence. He smiled and said, "good, because I'll be leaving in a few months for about 2 years."

I nearly fell on my face with that announcement as I looked at him agape.

"That soon?" I exclaimed.

"It's about time, as a gang, we're all in it together."

"Oh my..." I pondered. "Guess I better settle in for good."

"Please take good care of my doggies~" He faked tears, and we're back to the jokes again.

The time has come, for Big Bang to serve the country... All fans dreaded this.

I dreaded it even more.

Not that anyone would be danger, but the thought of me being alone again after Mia... I still remorse what happened.

After I came back home I hid my sorrows and guilt with missions to find her brother. When the gang was back I told them everything and they tried to help. It didn't work but I appreciated it and everything that helped my grief.

I'm still very determined.

Jiyong found my waist in the dark, waking me from my thoughts.

I was thinking about the past when I really should be enjoying the present, enjoying Jiyong's soft bed, and his beautiful modern interior, and the load of boxes labeled my stuff.

Oh yeah. I still haven't unpacked...

"Mukbang" Jiyong whispered in his sleep. I stroke his face and enjoyed his little quirks.

I'll miss this.

-
A few months later.

I waved the boys goodbye, they were crying buckets while cracking jokes how they were all gonna have a 6-pack when they get back. I find time to sneak a kiss to Jiyong before he got all quiet. They all got on the bus together and Jiyong broke his silence by yelling at the top of his lungs from his window.

"I LOVE YOU CELIA!"

As the bus drove down memory lane.

I got a dose of embarrassment and laughter till I headed home.

Time to unpack.

Finally.

Jiyong left me a lot of momentos incase I missed him, and promised to sneak in at least a few letters every week. He has ways.

While he's gone, I should focus on finding Mia's little brother Yuko. All my leads had gone cold and I don't know where to start.

As I unpacked, I found a VEVE card hidden in my old modeling portfolio and a sense of empty nostalgia came back to me.

I missed my fake manager/boss I had a roller coaster ride with. He really was selfless, despite him always saying he's selfish.

I flipped the card back and was surprised I've never done it before.

Behind it was a handwritten phone number that I still recognized as his font.

Having nothing else to lose, I called up that number. And without an doubt, the French boy answered his phone.

I cracked a smiled after hearing his familiar accent and voice echoed through the speaker.

I bit my lip and breathed in.

"Hey Louie, it's Celia, and I need your help."
