Chapter 18

"Congratulations you have earned 100,000 won from the performance!"

"Really? How much is that in dollars?"

"Like... 90 dollars!" Lily clapped her hands together as I looked at her wide eyed.

Are you kidding me...

Sigh, I have a long way to go.

I sat in the Boss's office as Lily revealed my schedule for the day.

Errands... I will be running around all day.

Lily gave me packages among packages of sealed documents and small letters to pass onto another person.

Usually there's an address on there indicating where the receiver was. Most of them are in the YG building, but some have an actual address scattered around the city.

One letter was for the SM entertainment company.

I wonder what that could be for...

I rode a bike that YG was willing to rent me and set off on the busy bike filled paths.

I always wore tight disguise wherever I go. It's easy to pass as a mailman when bystanders were already too busy to pay attention to another citizen.

Lily thought it was dangerous to sent me out on to the streets by myself, but the Boss assured her that I should learn more about Seoul, seeing how I will be staying here for quite a long time.

I agreed.

The SM building was even busier than the YG building. Fans crowded around shouting their bias' name and holding up signs to show their love and support like they were willing to do it everyday.

I checked the GPS on my phone to make sure I got the right place, I did.

I mean, can't really get it wrong when there's so many fans pointing it out.

I casually walked up to the glass metal doors and two bulky guards stopped me. I flashed my YG ID and they let me through seeing how I was dressed like a professional mailman.

I gave the clipboard to a lady at the front desk and she immediately called a number.

The lobby was spacious and gorgeous with no outside noises penetrating the stained glass windows. The fans were peeking through them to see what I'm, or really anyone, was up to.

A moment later, an attractive young man got out an elevator and strode to the front desk.

He looks European.

His orange blond hair glowed along with his ocean green eyes making him pop out not just in Asia.

I glanced away when he noticed my stares.

He said something in Korean to the lady and she handed him the clipboard. He then turned to me to ask something.

I bowed not understanding him and gave him the sealed letter.

He scrutinized my outfit and started to laugh.

I mentally pouted when I realized how unfashionable my casual clothes were compared to his designers.

"You must've gotten that outfit in America." He said in English with a cute French accent.

"Uh, yes I did." I hide my embarrassment under my face mask as I stared at the ground through my sunglasses.

"Where are you from?" He asked when he noticed my lack of accent.

"New York."

He looked me up and down before circling me and doing the same.

I feel kinda violated...

"What's your name?"

"Ce-" I paused and corrected myself. "Cedney."

"... I see." He grabbed his chin in thought as I started to walk away. "Wait Cedney, your job isn't done yet."

I gave him a questioned look when he motioned for me to come with him on the elevator.

"I can't, I have more errands to deliver."

"This is part of your errands, I need you to deliver a letter back to YG."

I nodded and followed him to the fancy elevator. I lowered my head so nobody can recognize me.

I am in SM, one of the biggest Kpop entertainment buildings.

When we arrived at his office, he offered me to take a seat while he grabbed some papers and pens.

A name tag on his organized desk read 'Louie Veron' which I could only guess at it being his name.

"Mr. Veron?"

"Please, just call me Louie, I am not much older than you."

"Alright. Wait what?"

How does he know how old I am?

"You can't fool me Ms. Celia, YG is smart to send you to convince me."

"I... Uh, what?" I panicked as I noticed him staring at me across from his desk.

"No need to worry, I will agree to them if you agree to me as well."

My thoughts jumbled with confusion as I started to ask questions.

"How did you? What's going on? Why am I...?"

Great questions...

"Haha, even with the disguise, I could still tell you are the famous Celia Roselia. I got an eye for models." He winked as he showed me his profession. "I am a well known fashion designer from France."

That explains so much...

From him judging my outfit to him pointing out my figure... It's creepy of him, yet smart of him to know exactly who I am.

"So what about YG?"

"Oh? They didn't tell you? They'll been trying to recruit me to design for them, but I have been rejecting since I'm already working for SM."

"But you're accepting YG now?"

"Yes, as a part-time, and in one condition."

"What is it?"

"You agree to work with me as a SM model."

"But, I already am working for YG."

"I know you're not really an official YG member."

"Yeah... But." I want to be close to my new family.

"Don't you need the money?"

"I do..."

"Don't you want to help them?"

"I do..." I don't want to be a burden to Jiyong anymore... I want to help him more than anything.

"This is an once in a life time career development."

He's right. He's offering me a job...

Of course I want a job!

"Okay." I smiled and nodded as he shook my hand.

"Great! From tomorrow on, you will be working for SM entertainment."
