Half way through the day, in potions, Rose felt something hitting against her leg. She sat down next to Albus in her usual seat before checking her pockets. She couldn't find anything so told herself she was making it up. But throughout the lesson she felt it sitting there. She was in the middle of making draught of peace with Albus when she saw something fall out of her pockets and onto the floor and she could no longer feel the object in her pockets. She bent down to pick it up and almost knock the cauldron off the table

"Miss Weasley, please tell me what you are doing" the potions teacher asked when Rose stood up

"I.. I dropped something" Rose said, staring at the green sparkle she could just about see under her desk

"Okay, but please be a bit more careful when picking things up next time" the teacher informed her "I would prefer it if I didn't have potions all over the floor"

"Yes Professor, I'm sorry"  Rose sighed, still staring at the emerald sparkle she could see

"Carry on" The Professor said and Rose turned to Albus

"I've got to get it Al" she said

"Get what?"  Albus asked

"It doesn't matter, but if Professor Aldren sees me 'trying to get something' again I don't think he'll be too happy with me" Rose said "Just, if he looks at me try and distract him until I get it"

"Alright" Albus said, turning back to the cauldron and preparing the potion everybody else in the class was doing.

Rose bent down and tried to grab the object on the floor, but every time she thought she had it it had moved forward a couple of centimetres. She stood up and turned around to see if anybody behind her was doing anything to it, but they weren't, they were all busy preparing their potions. She quickly walked round to the front of her desk and tried to pick up the object yet again, but this time it moved back under her desk, the side she should normally be standing. She ran back around to the correct side and scanned the room. She looked under her desk and had a good look at what she was trying to catch, the ring. The ring Scorpius had given her at Christmas and the ring Scorpius said he was going to give back to her, but why couldn't she catch it? She scanned the room once more and saw someone with a wand out. She knew that Professor Aldren didn't like people having their wand out in his lessons, so whoever that is must be the person who was stopping Rose getting the ring. She turned around again to take a good look at who was holding the wand. She looked up the arm of the wand holder to see Petunia Parkinson's face smirking at her.

"Albus" Rose whispered

"Yes?" Albus replied, pouring the powered moonstone into the bubbling cauldron

"Parkinson's stopping me from getting the er- what I dropped, keep an eye of Professor so I can stun her and get the object"  Rose asked, whilst still whispering

"Sure, just be quick and get that stupid thing so you can help me" Albus exclaimed

"Whatever" Rose said, she turned around and checked Professor Aldren was on the other half of the room before turning to Petunia and pulling her wand out. She silently stunned Petunia so she shlumped over the table she was working at and dropped her wand on the floor, luckily, she looked like she was sleeping and nobody had seen Rose stun her so, if Professor Aldren saw Petunia, Rose wouldn't get in trouble. Rose crouched down under her desk and grabbed the ring, she smiled and slipped it on her finger before carrying on with the potion she was supposed to be making with Albus

A minute later Petunia woke up, and she was very, very angry

"WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR WEASLEY?" She screamed, brushing the powdered unicorn horn off her face and out of her hair as she had fallen into it. Rose turned around to face Petunia, acting like she hadn't done anything

"What?" Rose asked trying not to grin. Albus leant over and whispered into her ear

"What's happened to you Rose Weasley?" he whispered "I thought you hated rule braking and you have always been a goody two shoes, now you're arguing with Parkinson? Wow"

"What's the matter Parkinson, looks like you gotta little something in your hair there" Rose grinned, James and Fred were right, this was fun

"Shut up Weasley" Petunia spat "And you know exactly what happened, you stunned me to get the ring that's rightfully mine!"

"What ring? What? This one?" Rose pointed to the emerald ring on her hand "Oh, this is mine"

"No! I deserve it! Scorpius is mine! He never loved you! He only gave you that to make you believe that he loved you! He didn't really, the ring should be mine! Give it to me!" Petunia screamed. Luckily the lesson had just ended, Rose threw her books and other stuff into her bag, slung it over her shoulder and ran out of the classroom.
