There are three things that deemed important as reminders for me today.
1. Speaking- when we gather together for prayers or in the mass, we speak, we respond, we give praise to God. We give our thanksgiving.  We articulate our gratitude to God. Laudato si o mi Signore.
2. Listening- As we pray to God, we also listen.  In our private prayers, we listen to God, we listen to His words.  God has a message, and mostly, He reveals His message in silence.  That is why, as we pray in silence, we also listen to God.  In our prayers, we listen to the leaders or the priests.

Speaking and listening are very important in our Christian life.  I admire the stewards and the Hermitines for this, as they offer their whole lives in silence- hora et labora.  It is important to have the focus, balance and concentration.  Eyes, ears, heart and spirit are open for God.

3.  Yet, speaking and listening are not enough.  Once Jesus said:  "Unless your speaking and listening flow over into concrete action, they don't have any value at all."  It is not enough to say Lord Lord.  It is not enough to listen to the words.  Everything should be translated into action.

We must act, we must do something, we must work to be fruitful.  God Himself did not stop working.  He did not stop doing things and creating. God had seen that His relationship with humanity was broken because of our sins, He Himself initiated reconciliation.

This is the challenge of the Lord for me right.  Translate my words and God's words into action.
