Those rumors can't be true. There must be a mistake. Allie misread. Or Kelley lied. Or something. But Maura couldn't have hidden something like that from me, right ? The middy was walking back and forth in her room, afraid of opening the newspaper she had got in front of her. Alex brought it to her before leaving this morning, letting Allie the charge to help Tobin understand what was happening to her. 

And something obviously was happening to her. 

"Holy fuck" Tobin let out. 

In her and Allie's room, Christen and Kelley joined them. They were her best friends on the team, and she trusted them. So when she knew they found out before her, she felt betrayed. But she knew it wasn't their fault.

She decided to read the article one more time. 

"National soccer star Tobin Heath's childhood house has just been broken into late last night, as the couple was out for the night. Few hours afterwards, a shocking picture was anonymously shared on Internet, via Tweeter. Two birth certificates, next to each other, announcing that Tobin had a younger sister, who appears to be on the National Team with her : Maura Rys.

We asked the US head coach Mark Parsons to explain that weird secret.... that appeared to be one for the two girls too. 'Tobin never mentioned any brother or sister, except for the three she already has. I don't think she's a liar. She probably didn't even know' Parsons said in a recent press conference. With that said, he added : 'I'm sure this won't affect the two players in any way, because they both are professionals and brilliant players. I'm not worried at all.'

'Not worried' seems to be an understatement. We can only imagine Heath's reaction to the news, and also the rage she must have against her parents, that hid that information from her. In the middle of a World Cup race, we are worried about the players' precious focus and concentration."

Tobin just shut her mouth.

What did she miss ? That was the question that was running through her mind. It reminded her of when Ashlyn announced them she had a baby girl. It was unexpected, and the blonde just lied to everyone. So did Maura.
