Jimin didn't notice how long he had spent laying there, he didn't notice that most of his body had become numb, he didn't notice how cold he had become.

If you think about it, tears are a blessing to pain. Tears will help you sleep, tears help ease your heart. They allow you to wake up refreshed and better.

Jimin woke up.
Whilst asleep, while he was not thinking, his heart was at ease. But reality came rushing back once he opened his eyes and remembered where he was; and most importantly- why he was there.

There was a bitter and dry taste in his mouth, his eyes were burning- from dehydration, and his head was aching. Jimin brushed it off and remained as he was.

He squeezed the pillow tighter.
His thoughts becoming obstreperous once again, making him feel nauseated.

He buried his face into her pillow and waited; he waited for the sickening sinking he felt to end.

It didn't.

Taking a deep breath, he tried to take in Sena's scent. He tried to imprint it into his memory as hard as he could.

As Jimin took in her fragrance, he suddenly felt okay, he felt warm and at peace again. He felt like she was there with him.

He cried again; because she wasn't there.

"I waited too long. I waited too long, didn't I? I shouldn't have waited-" he mumbled to himself with penitence.

Tears carried Jimin back to another cold, numb, short-lived slumber.

Followed by an hour, two hours, three hours, Jimin jolted awake- realising that he wouldn't be able to sleep to escape any longer; examining the beads of cold sweat scattered on him.

Jimin managed to swallow saliva from his barren dry mouth, then he slowly sat up. He examined the dark room, and the streaks of moonlight peaking through the curtains.

"It's still night time." He said to no one, then proceeded to stare at the lonely moon.

Jimin didn't notice how much time he had spent mourning, he didn't notice that it was cold because Sena forgot the window open, he didn't notice the sound of the door open either.

"Jimin?" A soft voice cautiously called out.

He chuckled, seeming almost crazy, his eyes watered as he spoke, "Great. Now I'm hallucinating too."

The body approached the silhouette of the weak figure that sat on the bed.

"Jimin... are you okay?" She asked as she touched her hand to his shoulder.

Jimin turned to see the owner of the familiar voice, and fell back when he recognised the face.
He recognised her face despite the moonlight being the only form of light that was in the room.

"Is- is it really you?" He managed to voice amidst his shock.

Sena nodded and smiled, "Who else would it be? It's my apartment."

It took a moment for Jimin to process, subconsciously he slowly reached out to touch her cheek.

His expression eventually morphed, he was no longer crying nor in disbelief, he was smiling.
