Chapter 12

Maya POV

When I woke up the next morning Lucas was still sleeping next to me. He looked so peaceful and cute as he slept.  It actually reminded me of Lucy because she looks the same way when she sleeps. I couldn't help but smile thinking about it. After a few minutes of admiring Lucas as he slept I grabbed my cell phone off the bed side table and just as I did it was lighting up alerting me to call. It was Lucas's moms number so I figured it was Lucy calling, I didn't want to miss her call again so I answered. 

"Hello?" 

"Hi Mommy!" she said excitedly. 

"Hi baby! How are you doing?" I replied in a quiet tone so I didn't wake Lucas. 

"I'm good. I tried to call you last night Mommy." she said to me. 

"I'm sorry I missed your call baby. I'm glad you called me this morning though. What are you Grandma going to do today?" I asked her. 

"Grandma and I are going shopping. She said I could get the baby something." Lucy said excitedly. 

"Awe, you are such a good big sister." I replied. 

"Mommy, when I come home tonight can you make your kettle corn so we can cuddle and watch a movie?" she asked me. 

"Yes, we can do that. I would love nothing more than to cuddle with you. After Daddy brings you home later we will do all of that." I answered. 

As I was talking to Lucy I didn't realize Lucas had woke up until I felt his hand making it's way up my leg. I grabbed his hand to stop him and gave him a look. He smirked at me then rolled over so he was now hovering over me. He began to kiss my neck as i was talking to our daughter but luckily I was able to keep my composure.  I was going to kill him when I got off the phone with Lucy.  

"Grandma and I picked lots of strawberries and blueberries yesterday. I'm going to bring some home with me." she said excitedly. 

"Yummy! Maybe we can make a pie later too!" I replied. 

"We should make Daddy some Strawberry Shortcake since its his favorite." Lucy said and I couldn't help but grin. 

"We'll see baby. I don't know if Daddy deserves that. It depends on if I find out if he's been good or not." I said as Lucas continued to kiss on me neck and feel me up as I was on the phone with our daughter. I decided to get him back by slipping my hand right int his boxers. He nearly collapsed on top of me and let out a quiet groan into my neck. 

"Okay Mommy. Grandma says we have to get going. I love you Mommy." she said to me.

"I love you to the moon and back. Have fun." I replied. 

I put my phone on the bed side table then pulled my other hand out of his boxers. Lucas looked down at me with a grin on his face. I rolled my eyes at him and grabbed him by his shirt pulling him to me kissing him ferociously on the lips. We made out for a minute and then he pulled away to look at me. 

"You're an ass, Huckleberry." I said and he chuckled. "Don't fuck with me you know I always win." 

"You're lucky you hung up that phone when you did." he said as he began to move his hand up my leg. 

"And if you would have kept doing what you were doing to me you would have been in trouble." I said to him. 

Lucas continued to make his way upward and stopped when he realized I was wearing no underwear. "You really know how to turn me on." he said and then he placed his lips on mine.  

I moaned into his mouth as we made out. After we got done making love we showered and grabbed our things to head home. After Lucas checked out we loaded up the car and then headed out. We stopped on the way to get breakfast somewhere which was good because I was starving. I was glad when we finally got home. I couldn't wait to see Lucy. Lucas dropped me off and said he would be bringing her later. I took a nap and then after getting up I made some dinner and made the kettle corn which got done right before Lucy got there. She came running to me excitedly with a bag in her hand. 

"Look what I got the baby Mommy." she said as she handed me the bag. 

I opened it up there were two different pairs of pajamas in there. One for a boy and one for a girl. They were adorable. 

"I love them, Luce. Thank you baby." I said as I hugged her. 

"You're welcome." she replied. 

"She was excited to show me too." Lucas chuckled. 

"Can Daddy stay for the movie too and eat popcorn with us?" Lucy asked. "We can all cuddle in your bed." 

"If that's what you want I guess so but you better check with him first." I replied. 

Lucy turned to look at Lucas "Do you want to stay Daddy?" she said excitedly. 

"I'll stay." Lucas said with a smile. 

I knew he wasn't going to turn that offer down. After eating dinner we got Lucy around or bed and then went up to my room for movie night. My room had a nice sized TV in and it was comfortable to lay in. Lucy got comfortable in between us. Once she got settled I went on Netflix and put Zootopia on since that's what she wanted. 30 minutes into the move she fell asleep on Lucas. I turned to look at him and smiled. 

"She loves you." I whispered. 

"She's my world and so are you and the new baby." he said with a smile. 

"I just don't want her to get hurt." I said to him.

"She won't. Everything is going good now. Just relax about it. We're not in High School anymore." 

"Yeah you're right." I said with a smile then leaned into give him a small peck. 

I cuddled next to Lucy and the three of us ended up falling asleep. I really could get used to things like this.
