Everyone woke up early for this ritual as muhurat is set at 8:30am. Pandit ji set muhurat for Turmeric Ceremony, where all elder ladies grind Turmeric root(Pasupu Koummulu) by doing puja for mortar and pastle. It is said that after this ritual we can start marriage works. This is done in both bride and groom's house.

After completing the ritual everyone went to have breakfast while I am waiting for Vikram to join us. Everyone started breakfast and 5 minutes later Vikram sat beside me. Dad started discussing about marriage works with everyone saying:
"So the marriage is scheduled after 9 days, very short time. We shall divide our works among ourselves, plan and do accordingly. Tell everyone who will do what works. It's completely your choice."
Vikram replied: "Good idea Dad. As it's our Aadya's wedding we won't hire any wedding planners, instead we do our works on our own."
"This isn't fare Dad, My team is here. They will do all works". I said
"No Aadya. You are our one and only daughter we want to enjoy it by doing it ourselves."replied dad.
"But If needed you will take help from my team " I said.
"Sure "everyone replied in unison.
I am lucky to have them as my family as they are taking all responsibilities for my marriage. Everyone are hiring wedding planners as they are busy in their daily works. Unlike them our family took up this responsibility and made me happier. I am sure my marriage is going to become a memorable for all of us.
Everyone decided that we ladies have to spend these 2 days for shopping. We all got happy and immediately went to get ready for shopping.
Dad informed the same to Aadya's parents and informed us saying they too thought the same .So our parents met theirs at their house for further discussions.
After 2 hours..
Everyone of us are in shopping mall selecting sarees for wedding. Everytime either mom or Vikram selects sarees for me but now they are so busy. While everyone are selecting sarees I am shocked to see all gents are here busy with their wives in helping them in selection. To my shock Vikram is beside Khushi selecting sarees and no one is considering me. I am searching for Arvind everywhere, I think as usual he's busy at office. I called him many times but he isn't answering calls.
Brushing away the thoughts I stood infront of mirror selecting sarees and put aside for an opinion from Vikram or mom. Moving to dresses section I took few dresses for trial and finally selected few of them..
I completed my shopping and sat aside seeing all my family happily smiling. I don't want anything at this moment, but I will do anything to make their smiles remain forever. Expecting call from Arvind I waited for him . But a voice interrupted my chain of thoughts..
