Chapter 1
*GIANNA'S POV*
I come downstairs to my mom and dad sitting in the kitchen waiting for me.
"Yes?" I say to them curious in what is going on.
They look at me, and tell me to sit down, but I'm a little worried actually! My mom and dad are usually really chill with everything, but now they seem really tense, and a little sad, I really hope nothing bad happened! Did they find out I missed science class two days ago? I did it by accident! I got locked in the stall! Quit your worrying Gianna, everythings gonna be good!
"Gianna, " my mom says, she never calls me Gianna, she always calls me G, somethings up.
"Mom, Dad, whats going on, you guys aren't acting like yourselves." I say worried.
They look at each other, then look at me.
"I'm sorry sweetie pie, I know how much you love it here, and we do too, but, "
I butt in to what my dads saying, "But what?" I know whats going on.
"We cant afford the house anymore with what were getting paid at work. I'm really sorry G, but were moving to North Carolina."
"WHAT?!?!" I scream, this cant be happening!
"WE CANT MOVE MY LIFE IS HERE, I CANT JUST START A NEW ONE LIKE YOU GUYS!" I say, while tears are escaping my eyes. I cant believe they're doing this to me.
"Listen sweetie, " my dad says. "You'll have some company when we move! Were moving in with your moms friend, and she has 4 children! Will, Nash, Hayes, and Skylynn!" As those names escape my dads mouth I realize what friend he's talking about.
"Elizabeth Grier?" I ask, already knowing the answer. "Maybe this move wont be so bad after all." I say in a loud whisper so my mom and dad would hear. There faces starting beaming with smiles.
