We walked into KC's bar and ordered some drinks.  I was the 'designated driver', so I just stuck with a Cherry Sprite.

"I'm going to run to the bathroom real quick," I said.  "Don't let them tell her!" I hissed in my mom's ear before I walked away.

"I'm on it!" She promised.

"I'm going to run and check on Logan real quick.  That girl is so crazy, I wouldn't put something like attemptive manslaughter past her" Honor said, rolling her eyes.

"By all means!" Lorelai said.

As soon as Honor was out of ear shot, Lorelai motioned for the other girls to come closer and listen.  She explained to them that Honor is Logan's sister who wants them back together BUT we're not allowed to talk about the baby tonight - Honor can NOT know because LOGAN can not know yet.

Honor put her phone on speaker and rested it on a tall ledge outside.

"Hey little brother.  Sorry I couldn't answer earlier, but what's going on?" She asked.

"Where are you?  The background is really loud.  And why am I on speaker, anyway?" He asked.

"I'm outside a bar.  I'm hanging out with some friends, but don't worry, they're all inside.  No ones here to hear me," she said.

"So tell me what's up?" She prompted after a minute or so of silence on his end.

"Turns out it's official - she's not kidding about the combined parties" he said with a deep sigh.

"And you thought she was kidding because...?" She trailed off with a laugh.

"Well, yeah!  I mean, who does that?" He asked with a laugh.

Honor laughed too.  "Your crazy jealous fiancée" she pointed out.

He groaned.  "Great, thanks" he said blandly.  "Anyway, you're coming to Vegas with us next weekend, right?  I really need you there for moral support, sis" he said.

"She never even invited me" she said flatly.

"Well I'M inviting you, then.  If it's going to be a joint party, then I can invite my sister" he said with a shrug.

"I'll see what I can do.  I'll let you know for sure, but there should be no problem" she said.

There was a long silence before Logan spoke again.  "Honor...?" he asked.

"Yeah?" She asked.

"I got a really weird phone call the other day...  from Jess Mariano..." he said, seemingly still in confusion.

"Who's that?" She asked, hating she had to lie to him.

"Rory's ex boyfriend before me" he said.

"And he was calling you because...?" She asked.

"Because - he wants me to leave Odette and get back with Rory...  He said I'm the only person who can make her happy.  That she wanted me to fight for her and choose her, but I didn't, and I crushed her" he said.

"Wow.  What did you say to that?" She asked.

"Well, I wanted to be a dick and say something that would really make him mad, but what it boils down to is, what if he's telling the truth?  Maybe she really is as bad off as he says and she really does need me or she'll never be able to be happy again?" He said.

"Maybe..." she said with a nod, hoping he'd FINALLY follow his heart.

"But, why get involved?  I mean, I don't know think I could ever do that for my ex girlfriend" he said.

"Well, your ex girlfriend is Rory and you're still drop dead in love with her, so..." she said with a laugh.

"He said he's been worried about her, that he's been letting her stay at his place so he can take care of her...  I don't know what to do, Hon!  I can't tell you that I can't tell you I don't still love the girl, because that would be a bold-faced lie.  I can't tell you I don't want her back with everything I have inside of me - I can't.  I want her with everything I have.  But I have family obligations - responsibilities.  Thank god you were allowed to marry for love, and not for power or money.  I'm so grateful that it's me in this position and not you, because you are allowed to be happy.  You're not forced to choose between love or family.  You get to have both.  I'm torn.  And not just emotionally, I feel like I'm physically hurting, too" he whispered.

"Logan...  why are you doing this to us yourself?" She whispered, getting worn out from begging him to just end it with her & get back together with Rory, for real this time.

"You're allowed to CHOOSE to be happy, Logan, I know it doesn't seem like it, but you do have that choice!  It's always been a choice!" I continued.

"Logan?  Why are you on the phone?  Who are you talking with?" Odette asked him, walking into the room.

"My sister.  Why, am I not allowed to speak to my sister either now?" He snapped.

There was some silence, I'm sure some looks were transferred between them both, and then he finally spoke "I'm going to have to go.  I'll talk to you later, Hon"

She was bummed out.  She absolutely HATED the helpless feeling she gets every time she talks to her brother.  She just wished that he would finally just come to her senses.

She walked back inside and up to us, and then leaned into the table.  "How would you ladies like to come with me on an all-expensive paid trip to Vegas next weekend?" She offered with a sly grin, "my treat."
