Y/N's POV

I pull my black combat boots on and walk out of Fairy Hills. My hair sways in the wind while my jacket and skirt ruffle up. Just another normal day for me. I didn't care about my appearance much. My hair's all frizzy, my clothes are all black, the world is dark. So nothing really changes in my life.

My thoughts are interrupted when I hear a voice calling my name.

"Y/N! Wait up!"

I turn around and see Romeo running up to me.

"Hey." I say as he walks up.

"Hey, Y/N. Look I was wondering if you want to come with me to an amusement park tonight." Romeo says.

"Are...you asking me out on a date?"

"Y-yeah I guess so."

When Romeo says those words, I can see the world turn a little bit lighter. Not as dark anymore.

"I'll come...can't make any promises that I'll be on time though."

"No worries, I'll come pick you up at 6?"

"Acting like a real gentleman huh?" I tease a little.

"W-whatever. Anyways I'll see you tonight?" Romeo asks.

"It's a date." I say walking away.

As I leave, I can hear Romeo yell, "Yes!"

I chuckle to myself and mumble, "Cute."

-Time Skip-

It's 5:30 now, so I get my hair and makeup ready. It's not normal for me to do this but, it seems as if Romeo makes my world brighter in some way.

I put my hair in a H/S and put a little blush and eyeshadow. I put on a F/C dress; it's good to wear some other color than black. I slide my heels on and glance at the clock. 5:50. 20 minutes passed already? It did feel like it took forever to put makeup on and do my hair.

I grab a purse hanging in my closet and put my wallet and extra makeup in it. All this work for a boy, huh?

I take a look in the mirror, thinking if I look too fancy for a date in an amusement park.

I decide I look okay and then the doorbell rings. I walk towards the door and open it.

Romeo's standing there in a tux.

"Looks like I'm not the only one who dressed up." I say.

"Y-yeah, I sort of lied about the whole amusement park thing." Romeo replies.

"Lied? So where are we going?"

"Um to a restaurant, it's a fancy one so, yeah."

"So yeah? That's all you say about it?" I laugh.

"Hey! I-I'm not good at describing places." Romeo says blushing slightly.

"Well what are we waiting for let's go!"

I step outside the door and lock it putting the key in my purse and Romeo walk out of Fairy Hills and into the city.
