"Step on it, Artemis." Fury speaks through the comms.

I click my tongue in annoyance, "I told you not to call me that."

"Just hurry up." I could hear Fury sigh.

I leaned forward on my motorcycle, twisting the throttle all the way until it won't go anymore. I savour the sound of the engine roaring as I surge forward at full speed.

I catch sight of Captain America as he flung his shield at Loki as soon as I make a sharp right down the corner, with Ironman landing right next to him.

"I see them," I announce.

"It's about damn time," Fury comments sarcastically, making me roll my eyes.

"Connecting you now." He informs before the line goes silent.

A beep sounds soon after, followed by blaring music in my ear. I wince, fighting back the urge to rip the device right out of my ear and toss it aside.

I slam down on my breaks, skidding my bike sideways as I did and ramming it into Loki's side. The collision sends the God of Mischief flying halfway across the parade square and away from his sceptre, leaving the two men; each dressed in their ridiculous looking suits, staring at me, dumbfounded.

"Camille?" I hear my sister's voice in my ear, laced with a mixture of worry and anger.

"Hey, Nat." I greet as I got off my bike, glancing up at the Quinjet and offering a wave it's way.

I return my attention to the scene as Loki gets to his feet.

"I've had enough of you humans." He spat, "You shall all kneel before me!"

I couldn't help but scoff, "How charming." I smile, walking over to the sceptre and picking it up. "I'll take this if you don't mind."

"Don't you dare!" The God snarls, "Hand me my sceptre."

I narrow my eyes at him, "Was that supposed to intimidate me? Because it really doesn't. This," I say, twirling the sceptre in my hands, "Is property of S.H.I.E.L.D now. So, if you want it, you're going to have to take it from me."

"Cam, what do you think you're-"

The sound of Nat's voice in my ear is soon cut off as I press down on the button on the device, turning it off.

"You imbecile." Loki lets out a laugh, "You think you stand a chance against a God?"

I shrug, "Well, I guess we'll find out, Arschloch."

Loki charges forward, a pair of knives appearing in his hands.

I swerve to the side as the God launched himself at me. He stumbles, but quickly regains his balance.

Letting out a cry of anger, he attacks again, this time slashing his knives out at me. I deflect his blows with the staff, before sending a kick to his chest when I saw an opening.

The God falls on his back, swiftly picking himself up.

"You'll pay for that." He threatened.

"I doubt that." I pay the threat no mind as I readied myself for another bout.

"You should've stayed down," I said, pointing the sceptre at Loki.

Just as I do, I could feel the sceptre buzzing with energy under my fingers.

Before I could comprehend what was going on, a ray of blue light shoots out from the sceptre and right at the God of Mischief, that sends him crashing into the flight of stairs behind him.

I let out a whistle, "Man, I could use one of these."

Tony Stark is by him in an instant, "Make your move, Reindeer games." He says, aiming every piece of weaponry built into his suit at the rogue Asgardian.

Loki's armour seems to materialise away as he raises his hands up to surrender.

"I should probably take that from you." An unfamiliar voice grabs my attention.

I whirl around to see the one and only, Captain America standing behind me with all of his glory.

His deep blue eyes immediately drew me in, like a moth to a flame. I couldn't help but stare in awe. He looked like something out of a movie, more specifically; a Prince Charming out of a Disney film.

"Right," I mutter, finally managing to bring myself back from my trance.

"Captain." I greet with a firm nod as I handed the sceptre over to him.

He smiles in return, making me flush.

"Who are you?" Stark demanded as he stomped over.

Thankful for the timely interruption, I turn in the direction of his voice.

"You weren't in the file." He says, his helmet retracting to reveal his face.

"I wouldn't sweat it. There wouldn't be much in my file, anyways. I value my privacy, Mr Stark and therefore, I tend to like to keep my personal information out of S.H.I.E.L.D's systems." I stated, "I've had a lot of names over the past couple of years. Most recently, Sabrina Smith. Nice to meet you." I greeted, flashing him my best smile.

"What?" Stark furrows his brows at me, with a hint of annoyance in his tone.

"I'm kidding. Well, sort of." I shrugged, extending a hand to him, "Camille."

Stark simply glances at my hand, before ignoring it completely.

"Yeah, I gathered that much when Romanoff yelled it through the Comms." He says, sarcastically, "Do you not have a last name, Camille?"

I let my hand fall back to my sides since it didn't seem like he was going to shake it any time soon.

"I do." I reply, "It's Romanoff."

"Romanoff?" Stark scoffs, "I'm sorry, is this supposed to be some kind of joke? Because I'm not laughing. I would've read about it in somewhere if Romanoff had a relative."

I raise my brows in amusement, "I have no use lying to you, Mr Stark. Like I said, I take my privacy very seriously. Unless you have a level ten clearance, you won't find anything about me in any file or system that S.H.I.E.L.D or in fact, any other organisation has."

Stark remains silent, watching me sceptically.

"Still don't believe me? You can ask my sister. Which reminds me, you guys should get going. She's probably waiting for you in the Quinjet." I say with a smile, before turning to get on my bike.

"What about you?" The Captain asks as I start up my bike.

"I've already got a ride." I say, "I guess I'll see you boys back on the Helicarrier."

Without waiting for a reply, I rev the bike, zooming past the two men in full speed.

It feels good to be back.
