She didn't hear his voice calling her, it was probably because the hallway was crowded with staffs, and other idols as well. He didn't even take a glance to his seniors or other rookies when he had saw the love of his life from afar.
"Sojung!" he shouted for her name, still she didn't turn to look at him. He excused himself from his manager, saying his friend was there as an excuse and he was free to go.
He walked up to her while bowing down to everyone in the hallway, but still keeping an eye on her who was probably only nine feet away from him.
The closer he got to her, the clearer he got to see.
She had her fingers lacing around a guy's fingers, his face seemed familiar, but he didn't know when or where did he ever saw him before. But he was sure, he had seen him before.
"Who is this?" Seokjin asked, his eyebrows frowned while his eyes moved from Sojung's face to the guy's face, and back to Sojung. He was unsure how to feel, his feelings were unstable ever since he had finished performing, now witnessing Sojung with another guy by her side, made everything even more complicated than it actually was.
"Is this the Seokjin guy who called you last night when we were in the hotel room?" he said slowly, but loud enough for Seokjin to hear it clearly.
His heart had dropped to his stomach, he was speechless, not knowing what to answer. His pupils grew twice in size, he felt his heart was beating faster than before as his mind was all over the place.
Hotel room? We? What does he mean by that?
She was shocked by Minseok's sudden question, she never thought he would ask the question in front of Seokjin himself. She kept staring on the ground, as she was too afraid to glanced up and face Seokjin whom she was sure was extremely confused, and mad.
"Uh? Yeah," she answered, her voice was shaking. To her surprise, Minseok suddenly stretched out his arms to shake Seokjin's hand, and his face looked unpleasant wth Minseok's sudden action.
"Congratulations, Sojung's father's nephew," he smiled brightly and innocently, totally clueless of the actual situation.
She felt herself tensed up again. She really didn't want to deal with the scene it would cause if Seokjin found out that what had actually happened was that Minseok and her had been dating since March of 2012.
She saw how his expression from joyful upon seeing her presence, to despondent and how his eyebrows plunged into a frown, madness was clear on his face. She never thought she would be stuck in this kind of situation, a situation that she had always been avoiding.
"N-nephew? What do you mean I'm Sojung's father's nephew?" he chuckled nervously.
"I'm not sure who you are, but I just want to let you know that Sojung is my gir-," Sojung grasped Seokjin's hand and walked away from Minseok. That was the only thing left she could do to save the situation.
He let go of her hand halfway while walking together with her and they immediately stopped walking. Later they found themselves in a surprisingly quiet hallway, and they didn't even know where they were since it was their first time being there.
"Who was that?" his voice was hoarse and cold, his expression was totally hostile, it was her first time seeing him that way. His eyes had become mean little slits and she could see his jaw clenching and unclenching.
