Part 31 (Threatened)

Arya:- I saw you somewhere?

Manik was sweating. If Arya recognised him, they will take his grave right here. Nandini was confused, she never told anything about Manik.

Manik( try to confidence):- No I don't think so. I'm not from here.

Arya:- Pir bhi!! (Still!!!)

Abhi jumped in the scene.

Abhi:- Aree yaar tu isse kaha dakhe ga? He is not from here. Woh tho India mai pehli bar aaya hai. ( Where you saw him? He is not from here. He came India for the first time.)

Arya:- Par mujhe yesa lagta hai I saw him somewhere. ( But I feel like I saw him somewhere.)

Arya opened his mouth to say something more. But Yeash stopped him.

Yeash:- Arya tum abhi abhi office se aaye ho jao fresh ho jao. Or tumhe kahi vul ho raha hoga. ( Arya you just came from office go fresh up. And you must be making some mistake here.)

Arya nod his head but his mind was still not ready to accept it. Then he left from there. Manik took a sigh of relief.

Yeash:- Abhi come with me. I need to talk to you.

Abhi:- Yes papa.

Abhi left with Yeash. Vandita also started walking inside. Manik and Nandini was standing there only.

Vandita:- Nandu come with me. I need your help.

Nandini nod her head. Vandita started walking again. Nandini was about to leave but Manik hold her hand and pull her towards him. Nandini's back bumped  with his chest. Manik hugged her from back. Nandini was trying her best to come out of his hold.

Manik(in Nandini's ear):- Tumhare bhai CID mai hai kya? Kitna shak karta hai. ( Is your brother in CID? He doubt so much.)

Nandini looked at Manik angrily and jerked his hand and walked in the house.

Manik (in mind):- Thank god I got saved. My this brother in laws mind is very sharp. Thanks to God he didn't recognize me. Abhi saved me at the end.  But where he saw me? Nobody knows how Manik Malhotra looks like. I should be careful around him.

Manik also went inside the house. He went to his room. Suddenly his phone started ringing. He saw the caller id it's his Dad.

Manik:- Hello Dad.

Vikram:- Hello beta(child) . How are you?

Manik:- I'm good Dad. Ap kese ho? Mom kesi hai? ( I'm good dad. How are you? How is mom?)

Vikram:- Sab tik hai. Tum tho tour mai jake hum samko vul hi gaye ho. ( Everyone is fine. Going to tour you totally forgot us.)

Manik:- Yesa kuch nahi hai Dad. ( Nothing like this time.)

Vikram:- Acha yeh batao kesa lag raha hai world tour? ( How is your world tour going?)

Manik(trying to act excited):- Outstanding. So many things to see? (In mind) So many things to tolerate.

Vikram:- Manik!!

Manik:- ayes Dad.

Vikram:- Kaha ho tum? ( Where are you?)

Manik:- Canada.

Vikram:- Nice. Niagara falls dakh na mat vul na. ( Don't forget to see Niagara falls.)

Manik:- OK Dad. Dad my friends are calling me. I have go.

Vikram:- OK beta (child) enjoy. Bye...

Manik:- Bye Dad.
