"Nagisa you're going to kill me!"

Karma cried out in desperation, his eyes holding fear.

Nagisa's eyes widened as his pupils thickened out slightly, but not all the way.

"Karma!" Nagisa exclaimed, rushing towards the redhead who had fallen down.

"You're back?" Karma huffed. Nagisa nodded.

"I'm so sorry, I don't know what happened!" Nagisa apologized.

"I-It's fine, I think we've sparred enough for one day, look at the time." Karma pointed to the sun, which was going down.

"Huh, guess so..." Nagisa murmured. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Yeah, see you then." Karma finished the conversation as they went their separate ways.

Nagisa walked quickly to his room, not noticed the panicked expressions held upon the faces of his adoptive parents.

The next day, Nagisa woke up a little later than usual. Irina and Karasuma gone to school earlier, as was their job, and they had left Nagisa to finish packing up and take the train to the school building at his request.

Nagisa walked up to the class building and spotted Sugino. Coming up behind the oblivious baseball-geek, he tapped on Sugino's shoulder. Sugino whipped around to see Nagisa standing behind him, smiling innocently.

"N-Nagisa-kun, was that you?" Sugino stuttered.

"Was what me Sugino-kun?"

"N-Nothing, let's get to class..." Sugino responded, plastering an obviously face smile across his lips. Nagisa knew the smile was forced, but due to lack of time, he let it slide.

Nagisa sat in his seat, looking around at the expressions of his classmates.

The members of class 3-E were scared, no, that wasn't the right word. They were flat out petrified with terror. They felt snakes curling up their desks and around their legs, hissing and moving swiftly around him. Nagisa read their wavelengths, they were spiking uncontrollably, and higher than Nagisa had seen before. Should he have used the nekodamashi, Nagisa was sure he'd end up knocking over half the class unconscious with little to no effort.

Korosensei waltzed into class and quickly took notice of his student's expressions.

Taking a once over of the room, he concluded it was bloodlust, and taking another look, he saw that Karma and Nagisa were the only two left unaffected.

"Karma-kun, Nagisa-kun, can you come here for a moment?" Korosensei requested. Nagisa and Karma shared a glance and walked over to Korosensei.

"Need somethin' teach?" Karma casually asked.

"I was wondering if you two were alright."

Nagisa was confused by the question. Was he alright? Yeah. But was the rest of the class?

"I'm fine Korosensei, but what about them." Nagisa pointed back at the class. Korosensei sighed.

"It seems your bloodlust has gotten out of hand." Korosensei admitted his thoughts.

"B-But that's impossible!" Nagisa protested.

"Not with what happened yesterday it's not." Karma reminded the others of his presence.

"Yesterday? Nevermind that, Nagisa-kun, if you please, go rest in the infirmary for a while." Korosensei directed.

"But Korosensei I feel fine-"

"Nagisa-kun, please." Korosensei said calmly. Nagisa nodded his head in defeat and left the classroom, the bloodlust following him.

"I assume you know I"m going with him." Karma said as he walked out of the classroom.

"To do otherwise would be out of character for you Karma-kun."

Karma shut the door and walked to the infirmary, sitting down next to Nagisa.

There was a brief silence before Karma spoke.

"Say, Nagisa-kun, why do you think I can't feel anything?"

"You can't?" Nagisa looked up in confusion.

"Well I can fell a little of the bloodlust, but it's not the same amount I normally feel when you let it out."

Nagisa looked at Karma, reading his wavelength.

"You are telling the truth... your wavelength is calm." Nagisa spoke quietly.

"Why would I lie?"

"To act tough? I don't know." Nagisa shrugged before leaning his head against the wall behind him.

"To answer your question I have no idea. Maybe because you love me and know I would never kill you?" Nagisa backtracked to the original subject. Karma sighed.

"That could be it."

The silence took over the room again.

With the other students, they were given a small break.

"Alright class, I'm going to let you take fifteen minutes break due to the fact that I must speak with Irina and Karasuma-sensei. Please do not disturb the infirmary while I'm gone." Korosensei instructed as he left the classroom.

"He's lost control, hasn't he?" Karasuma began the conversation.

"I do believe he has. Karma-kun seems to be the only one unaffected." Korosensei responded.

"But what about you? You don't seem very 'affected.'" Irina put quotes around the word 'affected.'

"What people appear like on the outside does not necessarily depict what they are feeling on the inside. Few people can look past the outside and see into the inside." Korosensei replied.

"So, what now?" Irina asked. "We can't just keep him locked in the infirmary."

"No, we can't." Karasuma agreed.

"Karma-kun mentioned something about yesterday, we should ask him what happened." Korosensei decided. The three shivered at the idea of needing to get close to Nagisa. Even down the hall they could feel his bloodlust.

"I'll go. I'm his mother after all." Irina stood up and walked out of the room. She made it the the infirmary and gulped, the atmosphere was suffocating even with the door in the way. The blonde took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

"Nagisa? Are you in there?" She asked as she slid open the door, resisting the urge to run away.

"Oka-san? You're here?" Nagisa asked, his already glowing eyes lighting up a little bit more. Irina nodded.

"I wanted to check up on you."

"He's been fine, we've been practicing English to pass the time." Karma interjected. Irina faked a smile.

"T-That's good. Look, I'll cut to the chase. The octopus sent me in here to see what supposedly happened yesterday."

Both boys froze up.

"That bad, huh?"
