Palette X Reader

Me and Palette have been close friends for years now but I would like to be more. I started crushing on Palette ever since middle school and ever since then I just couldn't manage to confess my feelings...I mean I'm not even sure if he likes me.

Me and Palette works with some of our other friends as day care workers....and trust me it's not the easiest thing in the world, but seeing the cute kids it's worth it.

I sometimes can't help staring or thinking about palette during work. He is just so sweet, cute,handsome,brave.....I just cant.

I feel my cheeks grow red as I think about him.

Palette has been with me through thick and thin and he's the best friend and boyfriend anyone could ever ask for. ...I just wish he could be mines.

I let out a sigh. Me and palette were walking down the street about to head out for lunch.

"Is something wrong y/n?" Palette asks

"No...it's nothing," I say with a slight pout

"The way you make your face sometimes is so cute" he says suddenly

"Huh?" I question with a blush on my face

"Uh, n..nothing" he says

I then smile a bit.

"Aww, but I think you have the cutest expressions palette" I say with a smile and palette blushes green

"See you look so cute right now hehe" I giggle a bit.

Palette stayed quiet in his embarrasment, and we finaly arrived at the resturaunt.

Me and palette stood in line and I ordered my treat and palette ordered his. We then left and on the way back it was quiet but it wasn't an award silence.

We arrived back at the day care and I almost dropped my food at the sight of a long friend.

"F/n !!!" I yelled in excitement and jumped into his arms as I hugged him."

"I MISSED YOU SO MUCH AHH!!!!" (just imagine this person was your favorite person in the world and you hadn't seen them in years)
I squealed in joy as he hugged me back.

We let go of the hug and I observed him.

"Oh my gosh you've grown a lot "

"You to y/n, well except for actually growing " he said

"I take back what I said, your still immature as always" I laugh as I playfully punch his arm.

I suddenly notice palette enter the bathroom abruotly, and he looked not so good.

"?"

"Is your friend alright?" He asked

"Is don't know, I should go check on him" I say

"Alright, I was just dropping by, oh yeah I want us to meet up later so I can introduce you to my fiance" he says and my jaw drops

"WHAT GETTING MARRIED BEFORE ME YOU!" I say in shock and glee

"I told you I'd be the first to put a ring on it" he laughed

"Oh hush, I've had things in the bag things have just been going slow for me" I say

"How slow is slow?" He asks

I sweat"..........since middle school"

"Geeze y/n, and you still haven't tried to confess" he says

"What can I say...hehe" I laugh

"Heh, well I'll see you around and try to work up the courage and confess to that friend of yours" he laughs as I sputter
