Chapter 8~ Close Call

It had been hours since Saeyoung walked out. I questioned where he had went but decided not to go searching for him. I knew it would be best if I just leave him alone for now.
When he gets back I'll talk to him...
I was hurt by what he said but I knew something was wrong.

Maybe it was because of V? I asked myself. Ya, it's because of V.
As I worked I felt my mind wander wondering what Saeyoung was doing. For some reason it felt like someone stabbed me in the chest. I hadn't felt this way since I found out Saran left. I felt like I could cry but  was too emotionally, and physically, drained to the point where I couldn't.
I sighed as I finished hacking the system. I turned the whole security system off. I needed to know what was in the drawer. I felt bad for doing it but it was bound to happen. I walked over to the drawer and tied to pull it open.

Locked, of course it was. I thought as I pulled out my old multi-tool. I flipped out the knife and stuck it into the bottom of the keyhole. I then took a bobby pin out of my hair and stuck it into the top of it. I twisted them until I heard a pop. I put the multi-tool and bobby pin back and opened the drawer. Once I did I noticed two things. A layout of a house and...

"Isn't this the logo for that email that everyone was getting?" I asked myself out loud. My eyes widened.

Saeran had a tattoo on his arm of this as well. I wonder if he is part of this... It would make sense but why would he join something like that?  Was Rika part of it too? I asked.
Well wouldn't that would mean V was part of it as well since he knew about the drawer. I thought. I pulled out my phone and took a picture of it. I then shut the drawer.
What the hell is going on? I asked myself. Rika, V and Saeran are all, presumably, part of this... I thought. I couldnt help but to feel a sense of betrayal and hurt. I turned the special security system back on and walked to the window.

I should probably tell seven when he gets back...
I thought as I looked out on the parking lot.

I wonder if you could see Seven's car from over here? I inquired to myself. My eyes started to scan over the cars until I found it. It was easy to spot because of how red it was and shiny. It was almost blinding. As I studied the car I realized that the lights were on, both inside and out. What the hell? I asked myself. Is he.... Leaving?! I turned away from the window and dashed out of the apartment.

I ran over to the elevator and pressed the down button. I waited for it to come... Nothing.

Damn it! I thought as I ran to the stairs. I ran down the stairs two steps at a time.
Why was he leaving? He should have told me. He didn't even say goodbye.... like everyone in my life. I thought as I skipped three steps by accident. I felt my foot miss the step sending me tumbling down the stairs. Once I got to the bottom of the stair case I jumped up to my feet.
I got down those stairs fast. I thought as I kept running down the stairs, trying to be more cautious.

Once I reached the bottom floor I ran through the lobby and bolted to the parking lot. Once I got there I saw Saeyoungs car pulling out.
Crap! I thought as I watched him start to drive away. I ran towards the car as fast as I could. Iran to the end of the lane and looked down the road. I saw Saeyoung was approaching. 

How am I supposed to stop him? I asked myself. I watched as the car approached.
... What I do? I was running out of time, soon he would be gone. There was only one thing to do. I took a deep breath and ran infront of the car. I stood there and shut my eyes waiting for impact... Nothing.
After waiting I opened my eyes and looked infront of me. The car had stopped just about five inches away from my body. I heard the car door open and watched as he stepped out of the car.
