every sunday.

for an entire year.

one dozen roses would be delivered to the dun's doorstep.

each time a tag would be wrapped around them reading 'for my love,  joshua dun'

every time josh would tear up.

every time tyler would hug him and kiss him and tell him how much he loved him.

and every time, tyler would say "a dozen roses isn't nearly enough for you, my love."

and every time, josh's heart would melt.

they were delivered no matter rain or shine.

if they were making love or fighting.

if they were happy or sad.

every sunday, somehow, one dozen roses for joshua dun would be delivered to their doorstep.

and of course, they were from his husband.

and of course, the gesture would remind them both why they were put on the earth.

for each other.
