Josh was 7 and Tyler just turned 6.
They were sitting outside of Tyler's home, both sipping their Capri-Suns and talking about whatever was on their young minds.

"Josh's eyes are ugly!" she exclaimed, pointing at the boy and laughing.
Josh started to cry, looking down at his shoes sadly. Meanwhile, Tyler was furious about it.
"I'll have you know, I think he has the prettiest eyes!" He exclaimed, squirting his Capri-Sun in the girl's face. "Now go away! He was happy until you came!" He said, hugging his best friend tightly.
"It's ok, Joshy. She's gone now. And you have pretty eyes! The prettiest!" He promised, kissing the top of Josh's head.
"Thanks, TyJo. You're the best," Josh said, hugging his best friend back.
"Wanna go play Mario Kart?" Tyler asked with a grin.
Josh sniffled and nodded with a smile.
So they went inside and played the game all day, it being the first time they ever held hands.
And neither of the boys would ever forget that.
