I'm not that original.

1. Blood, my blood poured over my fingers. Instead of screaming the only thing to escape my lips was a cracked laugh.

2. "Don't let it end like this! Finish what you started!"

3. As soon as his face lost color and his body went cold I had to turn away. It wasn't all fun and games anymore.

4. Character #1 "Let's do this simply, please?"

Character #2 "Simple is not in my vocabulary."

5. I look over at the small group of people behind me as my head spins, just on the verge of loosing consciousness.

6. Over the blaring music, for just one moment in time, I swear I can hear my name being called. A frightening thought, that is.

7. I do a good job making everyone think I'm okay, an inherited trait I'd assume, but I know it's not. This is something I taught myself,

8. There are some times when I almost believe the the smile that holds the lies, but then that belief is gone.

9. "I wish I could get of this place called Earth, stop being a part of this thing called society, and stop living in this thing called life."

10. "Use it to protect yourself." The voice was a distant memory, but the words still rang in my head as I walked through the halls, always on my toes.

11. Waking up in a new world where everyone you knew, changed. You don't know who to trust.

12. "The thing is I lied. It's very easy to do when you're with a very gullible person."

13. I couldn't look at them. I knew they were disappointed, and I knew I was going to regret everything I'd just said.

14. "Don't you get it!? There is no 'other choice'! You can change who you are, so stop trying to change me!"

15. I tapped my fingers on the surface of the control panel, the one that made everything operable. I whipped the dagger from my belt and gutted the panel and sliced the microchips. I turned back to them and smiled. "Tell me I'm good, again."

16. "There are something's you can explain, like why the sun sets and rises or why the rain falls from clouds. Then there are the things you can't explain, like why my heart beats, why my life still carries on, what my purpose is, if I even have one."

17. I guessed by the baited breath they were anticipating what to do next, what the next card to play was. After all their closest ally just became their worst enemy.

18. The wind blew his hair around his face as he stood there, silently. Letting the wind make up it's own words to replace the one's he was missing.

19. Even through the rain poured down on their heads they still didn't part from the kiss that held them close together, and put their hearts back in place.

20. He pressed his hand to mine, gently aligning our fingertips, and his eyes met mine. I could almost see the constellations as they reflected in his eyes.
