The one who was singled out
The one who paid
Who was teased and slighted
For choices made
The one who cried
The one who hid it all
The one who caught others
But no one caught them whenever they'd fall
We've all been that one
The one who singled them out for talent
The one who made sure the victims were paid
The one who defended
For the good choices made
The one who wiped away tears
The one who dug to discover it all
The one who caught others
Whenever they'd fall.
We've all been helped by that one
The one who picks another for hidden beauties
The one who pays for the kid who paid
The one who defends others
For the right choices they've made
The one who gives hugs and wipes away tears
The one who finds the beauty at all
The one who catches others
When they know they'll fall.
Be that one
We've all been there.
We've all been hurt.
So change it.
Be the one that you so appreciated in your life,
the one that caught you when you fell.
