LUKE'S POV:

The boys were all going to give me hell for doing this, but I had to do it. I have to ask Celeste about this boy that she likes. Ashton told me not to, but I have to. It's driving me out of my mind.

"Celeste?" I called.

No answer.

"Cel?" I called once again.

"In the music room!" I heard her answer.

I found my way into the music room, and she was strumming on a guitar. My guitar. But I honestly didn't care, she's a really good guitarist.

"Hey," I greeted her.

"Hi," she turned to look at me and smile.

"So, I wanted to talk to you," I started.

She put my guitar on the stand and pat the space next to her. I sat down and started to explain.

"You were saying, when we first met, that you liked someone who you thought was perfect for you. Who is it?" I asked.

She shook her head and didn't speak for a minute.

"Luke, I can't tell you," she whispered.

"Why not? I won't get mad," I promised.

"It's not that," she mumbled.

"Why are you afraid to tell me?" I wondered.

"Because it might ruin everything," she worried.

"What could be so bad that could possibly ruin everything?" I asked her.

"I can't tell you," she shook her head.

"Please," I pleaded.

"I can't," she sounded like she was crying, but she wasn't.

"Celeste, you can tell me anything," I assured her.

"Promise you won't overreact?" She looked up at me.

"Promise," I nodded.

She hesitated for a second, before telling me something I thought I'd never hear from her.

"I like you, Luke. You're the guy," she confessed.

I just sat there, shocked at what she just told me.

"And I just ruined everything," she sighed.

"Celeste, this is the best news. I've liked you ever since I met you, and it's been driving me crazy because I couldn't tell you," I smiled.

"You're just trying to make me feel better," she said.

"No, why would I lie about this. Celeste, when you told me, I felt like all the weight of the world was off my shoulders," I answered.

"Really?" She smiled widely.

"Yes," I nodded.

A loud, deep bark interrupted our conversation.

"There's Kasey. The boys are back," Celeste observed.

"Boys! Go away!" I yelled.

"Be nice," Celeste giggled.
