Rosie's POV:

"You are hereby expelled from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic!" Headmistress Quail screamed. "Pack your things! If you are not gone by 9:00am tomorrow, I will forcibly remove you!" I scoffed and stood. "Now we know why your single." I said as I left her office. I heard her shouts from behind me but I simply continued on my way to the sixth year dorms.

"Hello, Rosie. Where have you been?" My friend and dorm mate, Caroline, asked in broken English.

"I have terrible news!" I replied, taking her hands.

She frowned. "What happened, Rosie?"

Smiling sadly, I answered, "Headmistress expelled me for the honey prank."

Caroline gasped. "Oh my Rosie! Oh this is all the scumbag's fault!"

I rolled my eyes at the thought of who she was speaking off. Ugh, that bloody asshole!

"She said I would have to leave by nine o'clock tomorrow, so I must be getting on with a few things or she'll forcibly remove me." I sighed, hugging Caroline.

"Alright then, Rosie. Anything you need help with?" She offered, and I shook my head.

"No, Caroline. I should be okay."

She nodded and sat down on her bed as I grabbed two pieces of parchment to write some letters.

To: Albus Dumbledore

Hello, Mr Dumbledore.

My name is Rosalie Evans, I'm sure you know my sister, Lillian Evans, and I am writing to you today to ask if there is any available spots in your sixth year classes.

You see, I've gotten myself into a little bit of a predicament, and I've been expelled from Beauxbatons Academy, and I know it sounds bad! But I'm genuinely a decent person.

Please let me know as soon as possible.

Thank you,
Rosalie Evans

I sealed the letter closed with wax, and placed it aside to write my next letter to my parents.

"I'm in so much trouble." I sighed, dipping my quill in ink.

To: Mum and Dad

Hello mum, hello dad!

Firstly, before you blow up at me because there is no way that you don't already know about this, how are you? Tuney?

Well, I needn't really ask because I'm coming home soon! Not for the summer holidays either. I've been expelled, and I know you'll be angry and I'll explain the full story when I get home, and wholeheartedly accept any punishment you give me.

I'll probably floo home or to the Leaky Cauldron and take the Knight Bus, I don't know, we'll see, but I can't wait to see you all after so long!

Love,
Rosie xx

I sent the letters with my magical eagle, Archie, and then grabbed some clothes from my wardrobe for tomorrow.

I raised my wand, and with a single word and a flick, "Pack.", all my belongings save my clothes I intended to wear, flew into my trunk.

Grabbing some shorts and a singlet, I entered the bathroom and let the hot water from the shower relieve the tension in my muscles.

It had been a hard few weeks with everything that had happened, so I promised myself that I'd try my absolute hardest to stay out of trouble at Hogwarts, assuming he'd give me a spot.

Miss Evans,

I would be absolutely delighted to offer you a space as a sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!

Term starts on September the first! All stationary and uniform lists are enclosed in the envelope.

I hope to see you soon, Miss Evans.

Sincerely,
Headmaster Albus Dumbledore of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

"Yes!" I pumped my fist in the air and turned to Caroline, who was braiding her hair.

"What?" She asked.

"I got a spot at Hogwarts! That just means I can't mess up because I have no other options after that."

We giggled, and I took the next letter, already dreading reading it.

Rosalie Evans!

How dare you get expelled from another school! That's your fourth school, Rosalie! This behaviour needs to stop Missy! You may take the floo and Knight bus home as only Petunia and Lily will be home at the time.

We'll figure out somewhere to send you tomorrow evening, but I'm warning you, Rosalie!

One toe out of line and we'll homeschool you ourselves!

Mum

I cringed. The thought of my muggle parents trying to teach me magic was scary. Dad would say it didn't make sense and then I'd argue back and then we'd all start arguing.

I placed the letter down on my nightstand and with a wave of my hand, the light turned off. Now, I couldn't actually do wandless magic, and I had worked hard to be able to do that so Caroline and I didn't have to get out of bed, and I'm glad to say that I think I did quite well.

"Goodnight, Rosalie." Caroline whispered through the darkness.

I smiled sadly.

"Goodnight, Caroline."
