Skyler's POV: It was finally Wednesday a that means that the event is today. I had just finished my classes and was making my way back home. The dress that I had bought yesterday was in my closet, I couldn't believe that I was going to go to a high class event. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I would go to an event like this.
"RING! RING! RING!" My phone started ringing. Taking my phone from my bag I answered it.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey girl it's Taylor." Said Taylor.
"Hey what's up?" I asked her.
"Well I was wondering if you want to get ready with Joanna, me and the rest of the girls." Said Taylor.
"Sure, where do I have to go?" I asked her.
"Your on your way to your house right?" Asked Taylor.
"Yeah I am." I said.
"So I'll come pick you up. Make sure that you pack everything that you need." Said Taylor.
"Okay thanks!" I said to her.
"Anytime! We'll see you soon." Said Taylor. I hanged up and went to my car.

I had just arrived home and my mom was still not here. I guess that she's working late again. Taking my bag and school books I went to my room. I put everything on my bed and started looking for my makeup, shoes, accessories and the dress that I was going to wear. After I had found everything I decided to take a quick shower. I was done taking a shower and a change into so sweat pants and a crop top. Since I had washed my hair I decided to blow dry it. My blonde hair fell up to my mid back. I have always loved my hair and have taken good care of it. But what I noticed when I looked in the mirror was my eyes and the big smile that I had on my face.
It's been a while since I have seen myself like this, just so happy. My blue eyes had this spark to them and my faced glowed. I looked like a completely new person from the one that was back in Australia. Yeah I did miss Australia a bit, it was the place where I grew up in but I wouldn't want to leave. I want to stay here with the people that care for me. Back in Australia I have nothing.
"RING! RING! RING!" My phone rang. Taking my phone from my bed I answered it.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey Skyler I'm here." Said Taylor.
"I'm on my way." I said and hanged up the phone. Making sure that I have everything I need, I went downstairs. I went out of the house and immediately saw Taylor's Porche. I walked up to the car and opened the door.
"Hey girl!" Said Taylor when I got in.
"Hey!" I said to her.
"Okay so we are all meeting at my house. Since Kayel is picking you up I told him to pick you up from my house." Explained Taylor.
"Okay thanks. Wait you said and the other girls, who are the other girls?" I asked her.
"Oh the other girls is Levi which is Damian's girlfriend, then it's Leah which is Steven's best friend." Explained Taylor.
"Ahh! Wait Damian has a girlfriend?" I asked her.
"Yeah... Why?" Asked Taylor.
"It's just that when I met him I never thought that he would have a girlfriend." I told her.
"I know what you mean he is just so playful and can be such a player sometimes. When he first told me that the had a girlfriend I didn't believe it at all." Said Taylor. I nodded my head while laughing a bit.
"We are going to have so much fun today. Kayel won't be able to take his eyes off of you." Said Taylor.
"Please Kayel can have any girl he wants Taylor. I don't think he'll want me." I told her. Taylor looked at me like if I told her that unicorns were real.
"Are you kidding me Skyler! Kayel is in love with you. The way that he looks at you and he makes sure that you are alright always. He has bodyguards for you. Kayel has never been like that with anyone not even Milly." Said Taylor. Who the heck is Milly? (I don't know if I gave the girl that Kayel used to be with a name but if I did then forget the name that I put. It's Milly from now on.)
"Who is Milly?" I asked Taylor. She became tense.
"Ahh... look Milly is a girl that Kayel used to be with but I can't tell you anything else. This is something that he needs to tell you on his own." Explained Taylor.
"Okay..." I told her and looked out the window.
Was this Milly girl really important to Kayel? Will Kayel ever tell me about her? I mean he doesn't have to tell me, but I really wish he would. I'm tired of people talking about her and then suddenly stopping cause I'm there. I hate it. But I guess I hate it more cause without me noticing I fell for Kayel. Kayel is an amazing person and the way that his with me just... I can't even put it in words. I don't know what I would do without him. As of right now Kayel is my rock. If he ever left me I don't think I will be able to recover. Me recovering from my dad dying was so hard and I wanted to give up so badly, I don't think I can pass through something like this again. It doesn't matter what people think but what Kayel think does matter to me. I don't know when it happened but I fell hard for Kayel and that was something that I definitely wasn't planning. He probably thinks of me as his little sister or a friend.
"Skyler I didn't mean to make you upset but I really think this is something that Kayel would want to tell you himself. Look I'm sorry." Said Taylor to me.
"It's okay Taylor I just wish that he would tell me soon." I told her.
"Have you talked to him about it?" She asked.
"I'm too afraid that he"ll shut down on me." I told her.
"I think you should talk to him Skyler." Said Taylor to me with a small smile on her face.
