"I'm gonna miss you" Jake said to me. Jake was my best friend and I'm leaving him tomorrow.......I'm moving to Melbourne, Australia to live with my best friend. When I was younger I took a family vacation there and ever since wanted to live there. The problem is I live in LA. "I'm gonna miss you too" I responded. Jake and I were sitting on my front porch the over looks 'Hollywood Hills' I've lived here my whole life. "Remember when we were 12-" "Not another flashback!" I joked "Anyway we had made this little 'pact' if you will, stating we would never be apart" he paused "I'm pretty sure that's ending now physically but can we keep it going mentally and emotionally?" He finished "Well first of all that made no sense, and second of all yes." I laughed a little. I leaned in and rested my head on his sholder. I felt one tear fall down my face "Just don't make this hard for me to let you go.......please." it felt like we were a couple leaving eachother but we're NOT dating.......though I wish we were! He's so damn perfect! "I'll try" I said......... I'll try.
