Life Changing

I was feeling better. I hadn't gone to see Jacob... Even though I wanted to, I was giving him time to be with Bella.
So now I was in my kitchen, cooking and singing love songs and dancing.

I would have kept going if I hadn't become aware that I wasn't alone.
Jacob was standing at my back door, smiling and clapping for me.
"I always knew you had talent, Little Wolf," He laughed.
"Jake!" I gave him a hug and kiss on his cheek, "How are you feeling?"
"A lot better. I healed fast."
"Good. I'm glad... Um, how's Bella?"
"Not sure, I haven't really talked to her except for that one day."
"You haven't?" I said, way too happily, "I mean, what happened?"
Jacob laughed, "She loves me, she does, but she loves the Blood sucker more than me."
"I'm sorry, I really am."
I went back to making my spaghetti sauce.
"I'm not sorry, not at all."
I turned to look at Jacob who was examining me.
"I had a revelation the day of the fight. Bella kissing me felt amazing, yes, but it still wasn't what I was expecting. I thought it would be life changing, but it wasn't."
I stopped what I was doing to listen to closely to Jacob.
"When I saw that leech coming after you I saw both our lives flash before our lives. You were in human form, he would have killed you. In that moment I knew that I never wanted to live my life without you. I knew that you were more than just my imprint, I'm in love with you, not Bella."
I was so close to Jacob now that our lips were almost touching.
"Do you really mean that?"
"Every word."
My lips brushed against Jacob's warm mouth. One of his hands went down my arm and founds it's way to my waist, the other hand twisted itself in the nap of my neck.
His lips found their way down my neck, causing me to giggle, and then traced their way back to my lips.
I don't know how long we kissed for.
Ten minuets, thirty minutes, an hour.

"That-" Jacob took a deep breath, "Was life changing."
